Not necessarily. Don’t don’t know anything about DD, but Harsin does.

Starting/continuing with Tj makes me question Harsin's judgment, tbh.

I'd be having more fun if we were trying different things out. That said, I'm still more interested in the football team now than I was when Gus was here.

The play calling actually was pretty diverse. It seemed fine.

Execution by a Passing Qb was terrible.

You can complain about not running it to get 2 yards. But…
1. Tank was open in the flat. Terrible throw.
2. Hudson was open and it was a bad throw although a WR has to catch a catchable but difficult ball.
3. Hudson is open on a slant. Bad throw and not great hands by Hudson.

I mean yeah cause it’s the first season under a new coach. One more season like this and you’ll be in the same boat

Maybe so. In general I believe coaches have the most information and are financially inclined to win.

I don't see any good QBs left in the portal or JUCO other than maybe Cameron Ward so at this point hard to see how next year's offense has a major improvement, but you never know.

Yeah you're probably right, but we aren't there yet. I agree with everyone saying that if Finley's our starting QB I'll be extremely concerned.

We may legit start the true freshman. And honestly, I don't think I'd be too mad at that. Kids seems to be pretty damn good.

But this logic applies to all coaches. Bad coaches, however, make poor choices in those types of situations .

The bottom line is I feel a lot less confident in our head coach after this one.

I'm fine with the play calling, but I will say it again. Finley was so bad I see no reason for Harsin not to give DD some rotation just to see if he could ignite something.

I mean yea but that doesn’t mean that they always make the correct decision. We let Malik Willis walk and he will probably be drafted higher than any of our QBs. We went into a season confident with Jeremy Johnson as a QB. This is a throwback, but we played Kiehl Frazier over Jonathan Wallace even though Wallace passed much better.

There’s no way Finley was winning that game. He’s a horrific QB. I hope DD transfers out like Willis and becomes a first round pick. I’ve been a Harsin fan all year, but some of the calls this game were awful. I thought it was a Bobo issue. Now I see it was a Harsin issue.

Just bc you’ve never even seen DD run his offense?

How can we judge Harsin just bc he didn’t play a true FR QB ?

This is what I think too. Harsin did this twice at Boise State.

Because it almost certainly could not have resulted in a worse offensive output.

And I blame Harsin for DD getting no reps all year. He was busy trying to keep TJ happy earlier this year and DD got no cupcake reps

I'm sure it sounds nice typing that out, but there's no way to know if that were true.

Dude, DD is 5'9 and isn't Harsin's QB. He's not good and has not looked good. TJ Finley sucks, but this does NOT imply that we should have been "developing Davis". Neither guy will start for Auburn next season, bank on it.

Probably, but

So at least just try something different. Failing anyway
