He’s a catch and shoot guy, run off screens, etc. I’d say very similar in just general style to JJ Reddick. We’ve not had anyone like him in a while. Very pure shot.
Anyone old enough to remember Scotty Pohlman?

Had foot injury in Sept that required surgery and was just cleared to play this week.

Scouting Report
Walker is a skilled, tough, and smart guard with good positional size and strength. He’s a shot-maker who is equally capable of knocking down deep threes beyond the arc and tough pull-ups off the dribble. He’s every bit of a 6-foot-4 and has the type of strong body that has obviously been earned in the weight room. He’s also tough and competitive, with a wealth of intangibles, including a very mature approach to the game and high basketball IQ. He moves well without the ball, is the type of shooter who can be run off screens in the half-court, and is an instinctive and hard cutter.

Why did he play so late in the game?

Absolutely. Key member of the Cliff Ellis 97-2000 teams.

Good question, but I'm glad he was finally able to get on the floor. Hopefully, he can put in some meaningful minutes against good competition coming up. Just glad to have another body available with Hall down.

Dude was an assassin from outside the arc - I had a very good LSU friend of mine that couldn't STAND ol' Scotty (because he was so good)

He was pretty solid but the stats tell a different story. His junior and senior year he shot about like freshman Aden Holloway

His 97-98 season(sophomore I believe) was fire, though.

Since we are digging up old memories of "sharp shooters", Lance Weems was fun to watch.

So was Tay Waller. Lebo had a fun team that made an NIT run. I think maybe 08-09 or around then.

That squad was playing like 4-5 seed quality by the end of the year but the resume was trashed earlier in the season

Used to bump into him and Fishback at Bodega on the regular.

Scotty was money from downtown.

Korvotney Barber lived in my Apartment building that year. Saw him all the time passing on the stairs or just throwing down on random nights, funny dude.

Nothing against Pohlman but I think there's a lot of revisionist history in this thread.

A CBM missed FT just allowed Troy to tie USC with a three.

Time for overtime. .
