RIVALS REACTION The two schools in the best spot for Williams are Auburn and Louisville. His recent trip to Auburn has the Tigers on his mind. Chris Mack has recruited him as hard and as long as anybody, so Louisville will have a great shot at plucking him out of the Peach State. Williams did mention a couple times that he likes the idea of staying close to home and playing in the SEC, so it will be interesting to see how that plays into his recruitment going forward.

Lol I don't disagree, but still found that little tidbit interesting. More than likely he doesn't know anything and is just saying that b/c the hire is obviously close to happening.

Got to be a special kind of a-hole to block someone when you're wrong. Shouldn't require fans to fact check reporters

Same thing has happened to me on twitter with Jay Tate and Marcello. They are all very sensitive. I appreciate what they do but sheesh.

With JGT it may depend how the correction was presented. If it's seen as done with attitude it's a quick way to get blocked by a reporter. For example with me, I hate being wrong. If someone corrects me & doesn't start it with something like "with all due respect" I consider it done w/ an attitude. I may be full on wrong there but that's how I am.

Knight is currently an ASST at Rutgers, but before that was Jamie Dixon's chief recruiter at Pitt. He was all Big-East at Pitt as a player and is a big time recruiter in the NE and SE. Also is really good friends with Omar Cooper, the coach/director of Nike AAU team of Athletes of Tomorrow in ATL. The significance? That's the AAU team for Isaac Okoro and Sharife Cooper.
Would be a pretty big time hire.
