I'll be fine with it if he can actually play for an NBA team. The Shariffe Cooper route to the G-league isnt in his best interests when we have NIL for him.

Houston needs a bonafide lead scorer. Jalen Green is way too inefficient but Jabari ain't that guy either - on the off chance that he is he should probably go somewhere else to try and prove it.

Pretty surprised Jabari has been such a bust.

He only played 12 minutes last night. Which was fricking retarded.

Listen to what Draymond said about a 12 minute guy.

Yeah, which is why he more than likely comes back. I figure we would have been going hard after PG transfers if it was likely he wouldn't come back. Always the chance someone at the end of the first suddenly falls in love with him though, which makes it worrisome.

But if he comes back and shows improved passing and point guard skills he's probably at least a mid first round pick, so gotta think that's the smart play rather than falling in the G-league sinkhole.

Seriously. He needs to get on a team with an actual distributor point guard and a team that isn't full of ball stopper shooters.

His three point shot % being as low as it has during his career has legit surprised and disappointed me, but hopefully eventually getting on a team with better offensive flow will help him. He's still very young as well.

Jabari could fit on another teams that are willing to do the extra pass around the key. Jalen Green is basically Tracy McGrady Jesus in the inefficiency metrics except TMac could at least hit 20 points somehow. Most of NBA and Houston Twitter think he has been very underutilized which is a positive for Bari.

Kind of in a holding pattern with Scott right now.

He finished up his Ole Miss visit yesterday. I assume he’s in the negotiations part of the process.

I wouldn’t call Jabari a bust at all. He will be a 15 year guy in the league. Just not a great fit with this group of players. He’s above average on offense but still need to keep growing on that end. He’s a good rebounder and an elite defender. Plus he’s very very young still. When he gets to 25/26 years old if he not averaging 18/8 a game then maybe you can call him a bust.

I think a good fit for him would be a more defensive centered team. Now if Green can grow up and learn to play team ball the rockets can be explode and be a contender year in and year out but will take some tough coaching for these young guys.

If you are the #3 pick in the draft, was almost #1, and you're not starting in year 3 you're busting. Doesn't mean he can't develop and shed that label but so far, not nearly good enough.

Meh Jalen Green was drafted higher, played 30 minutes and scored 8 points.

Are we recruiting Jabari again? I didn’t know you could come back and finish your college career after going to the NBA.

He broke his hand and missed a couple months or so of the season. Then, in one of the last couple games of the regular season he had a groin injury that I think nagged him through the playoffs. Prior to the hand injury he started every game.

Jalen Green shoots like 38-40% and doesn't pass. He's super athletic, but until he learns to actually be a good team player he's a liability. Jabari needs to get FAR from that situation. It doesn't suit his game.

Their play really doesn't suit him. It is better under Ime, but still not great for him.

The Rockets need to draft or aquire another young true point guard. When Vanvleet went out for that long stretch this season they had no one really capable of running an offense. Another true point guard playing behind Fred would help that offense tremendously.

I loved jabari, hope he becomes the best player in the NBA. But just because he played for auburn doesn't mean i can't point out the obvious he hasn't lived up to expectations and his ability.

Same... If he had played with some good passing guards, he'd be a 20 pt scorer. He has the skill set of Dirk. But they got Dirk the ball.

VanVleet, Green, Sengun all hunting their shot. Wish he had played with a Chris Paul-Type.

I can't count the number of times in the series vs the Warriors he had Curry guarding him. A smart team that knows how to win runs him straight into the post and forces the Warriors to adjust but the Rockets just sat him in the corner so Curry could help off of him and rest while they forgot he existed. It was frustrating to watch
