Misinterpretation if my post but undestandable. I think the Dems are worse but w a two party system and Trump claiming he’s not in the files what other recourse is open to the people?
Lots of better options than electing Dems:
• Primary all establishment Republicans, especially those in the files or those who have heavy contributions from people in the files.
• Vote third party en masse.
• Actually release names and prosecute all involved.
Unfortunately, the American populace seems too lazy and/or or stupid to do any of the above, so they probably will just vote Dem.

Do you see political consequences? Protests? Mid-term bloodbath for Reps??
Impeachment?
There it is. Why didn’t you just say that OP was a partisan hit up front instead of pretending you were concerned about “them getting away with it”? You seem to only want to hold one side accountable. Should there be a midterm bloodbath for the reps if the alternative is electing Dems who are, at the very least, equally implicated?

This team has too many holes and the fact Bruce bolted just before the season tells the story… There is zero reason we should not have 2 centers that are SEC caliber on this team and here we are with nothing. Tasha as has severely regressed and our three point shooting looks rec league. AU isn’t a bottom dweller anymore and the AD needs to find a HC that can continue upward trajectory before the program nose dives off a cliff again
Just so we’re clear, this team has too many holes and it’s Steven Pearl’s fault? Kinda seems like it’s at least partially BP’s fault if there is a talent issue. Didn’t do Steven any favors leaving the cupboard bare, especially with the bigs.

We're not voting our way out of this by electing Republicans. Either a true MAGA party is formed (30% chance), Democrats slowly submit Republicans (50%) or the fight moves beyond politics (20%).

Is that actually how Pirro said it?
If so, I don’t know how you get around the first amendment in a way that doesn’t bit you in the arse later.
If they have a connection between Soros money funding clear and direct incitement though, then have at it. Hard to believe they would leave a provable paper trail of that when giving money though. Surely the devil’s right hand man is more savvy than that.

This mirrors what the U.S. did to destabilize Cuba with that fake Twitter clone. Get everybody signed up to follow someone for baseball news or home design content then slowly inject political content.
re: Have you ever been to a protest or march of any kind?
Posted by AUTiger1978 on 1/25/26 at 9:01 pm to tigereye58
None for me. I tend toward the libertarian right. Most right-leaning events are just fed entrapment events, so those are a no go for a multitude of reasons. I would go to an anti-war protest but those died when Democrats decided to just be neocons.

His dad refuses to die because he knows his money ends up in the hands of this idiot.
This actually makes me wonder if ol Alex really believes any of the bullshite he spews or if he’s just playing a role so his dad gives him the cash.

Exactly! If people can prove they haven’t done anything wrong and say with 100% certainty that they won’t do anything wrong in the future we can consider letting them out. Do you think at birth is the correct time to take them into custody or should we give them a few years before jailing them?
I don’t know if it’s white pilling that so many realize this is an insane take or black pilling that someone would actually advocate for this.

I like how they flew in commercial and are taking tour buses. I bet that situation will hold up well until our first C-130 arrives with real military equipment. They’re gonna have to ask their bus drivers to drop them off at the airport so they can tell our guys they aren’t welcome in Greenland.

You are partially correct. The problem is we allow too much freedom to outsiders. Non US citizens should not have the same rights as citizens. Non citizens should have a limited freedom of speech, freedom of assembly ( as in protesting ). Non citizens should not be allowed to speak out or protest the USA on USA soil.
I know we currently find ourselves in a news cycle showing rampant fraud and lawlessness perpetrated by groups of recent immigrants, but what happens in your scenario if immigrants are actually being mistreated? Do they not get to call attention to their plight? Does it seem likely that their lack of ability to voice concerns results in intentional mistreatment by wildly immoral people who just so happened being born on U.S. soil?
This a great example of why we’re in the position we’re in. Our population is trained to consider only the most simplistic first-order effects of ideas. Not only are most people weak in defending good ideas, they also lack the second-order thinking skills to properly evaluate ideas. We are left with a large segment of our population that are not able to discern a good idea from a bad one. And when they do happen upon a good idea they are either unable or unwilling to vigorously defend it.

Stop importing people en masse and make the case against bad ideas. The whole point of the first is to allow people to vigorously debate ideas. Most of these ideas are downright stupid but people are giant pussies and are afraid to push back.
re: What happened to the libertarian movement re: immigration?

Reason and CATO were both founded by the Koch brothers who are globalist libertarians. Meaning they want to import cheap labor and support global free trade. Many libertarians realize that libertarian values are excellent on a national basis. Only liberal morons who are not true libertarians or those who have significant interests in global corporations and benefit from selling abroad believe it’s good for the nation as a whole to adopt libertarian policies outside of our borders.

Maduro Guilt
Posted by AUTiger1978 on 1/4/26 at 10:55 pm
Is there some reason people keep worrying about whether the Maduro trial results in a guilty verdict? It’s not like he gets reinstated as Venezuelan president if the NY libs find him innocent. I mean, I realize it’s not a great look but I don’t think anybody is going to change their opinion of the whole affair based on the trial’s verdict.

Rand is like the pussy off brand version of Ron. No comparison.
Also, I forgot about Ron Paul being personally responsible for doing background checks on all the 9/11 hijackers. I think he was their flight instructor too, wasn’t he?

It’s actually simpler than that:
1. Because it’s blowback for us destroying half of the Middle East.
2. Because the ones that weren’t a direct reaction to our wars in the ME were created, armed and funded by the U.S. and other western powers.
Ron Paul was right.

Actually, Tucker is one of the few that tries to keep Trump focused on America First and rooting out corruption in DC.

Any idiot that places Tucker in the same category as Candace Owens either has never listened to him or has nefarious motives. Tucker is certainly freed of the editorial control that networks have exercised over him in the past, but he isn’t batshit insane like Owens.
And that article is straight propaganda that attempts to portray dipshits like Mark Levin, Ted Cruz or Ben Shapiro as more representative of the America First agenda than Tucker. The funny part is, Trump himself solicits advice from Tucker and a wide range of other folks. Somehow he finds it useful to take in differing opinions, then come to a reasoned conclusion. Sometimes siding with Tucker’s viewpoint and other times he doesn’t. Meanwhile many MAGA voters don’t seem to be able to handle a party that isn’t in 100% lockstep. That absolutely should not be the ideal. We should have vigorous debate in both parties about what policies best represent the American people.
