I'm hoping that it is similar to Chaney and he'll have a switch come on and he'll get better, but we at least saw flashes from Chaney at times last year.

Big difference being big fish in a little pond and being thrown into a pool of piranha.

IE: the games he's been in seen so far, this year, have been against elite talent.

And it's a new a system with a good bit of cohesiveness. I'm hopeful once we get in league play and the games get easier. As well as his familiarity grows with his roll and the pace of going balls-out for a third of a game. eta: He really looks a bit lost to me.

It’s not easy to play point guard in Bruce’s system. It’s not a free flowing motion offense, it’s set driven which requires a lot of thinking and communication. Hopefully he’ll get more comfortable as the season progresses.

It is like he is just hesitant in everything. He goes too wide off of the high screen and seems to be unsure about not just shots, but drives and passes too.

Ace Bailey as our 4 man we would go undefeated.

Abaev official to Cincy.

Still kind of crazy to me basketball doesn't have all the NIL they need and more. You would think people would be donating to the top team in the country.

I know right? How/Why are we not putting money into BB recruiting? How can TPTB look at wat’s going on up the road and be okay? Makes no sense. Glad we are doing as well as we are considering.

Interesting dilemma/opinions going on right now.

Bball winning, “spend the NIL on a winning product”. Football losing, “drop whatever it takes to get a qb and o-line”.

Seems to be people that think football donations happen much more due to ROI, but are these big time donors actually donating because of financial ROI (I don’t really see that?) or just because they want to be a part of a winning football program

Unfortunately I think our big donors don’t care as much about basketball. They would rather spend to get football relevant again. I don’t like it at all but at least Bruce can develop and coach in-game.
