Dog house?

Schwartz definitely has been implying he's going to play.

We all agree on Kam Martin. But Boobee had one of the best seasons by a freshman RB at Auburn Let’s see what he does in year 2.

ITs Gus Malzahn. Boobbee is the guy till , well you know

Cadillac has apparently been pushing to get more of a RB by committee approach, rather than one horse taking a beating. We’ll see if Gus will allow it.

If he knows Boobee will be the first on the field, I don’t know why he doesn’t just label him exclusively at 1.

I agree, if he's the starter MAKE him #1, but what I think is happening here is that it's possible that they don't look at Boobie as any every down back. I remember he could drop some passes. So Martin being the better receiver, GM is making them an OR tandem based on interchanging them depending on plays called.

And I also think Boobie HAS to stay healthy to make a case for that #1 RB spot in the future.

Boobee, DJ, Shivers, and Joiner in rotation

Hope McClain isnt transferring, but if he doesnt step up early this season, he might as well. Its put up or shut up for him.

I hope the plan is dress him out but only play him if we are forced too. Really dont want him re-injuring the hand, and really don't want his hand to cause a turnover in the game.

Marquis McClain isn’t listed on the depth chart.

Came to post this when I saw the chart. He has been a big disappointment. I know he wasn't a highly touted recruit or anything, but physically, he looks like a big receiver. He should at least be competing for a backup spot by now.

100%. To me, this is implying that Gus is taking Caddy's idea of a by-committee approach seriously.

So what you want is if Boobee is out there working and doing well, change running backs?

Then if the second guy does not have the same result, it will be "Gus took his foot off the throttle"

You should always ride the horse that is hot till it doesn't matter any more. That is a recipe for winning. Find what works, and do that

He's a solid running back but not an elite running back., from what I saw with D.J. he looks the part.

Based on his redshirt freshman season? Which was, by the way, one of the best ever for an Auburn RB.
