I noticed that about Coe. I kept saying "how can he be the backup"/"how can he be the backup"/"how can he be the backup"?

Hold up. You have to be subbed to Auburn Rivals to see their depth chart now, and can't even find a dedicated page to it on 247 for free? I giggled. Oh, 2019.

Steele is coming down to the field this season. Woodson is going into the box.

This is my take on this:

Gus left his comfort zone, which is actual HUNH, to protect the defense. With Gus most likely going full HUNH this year, Steele wants to be better able to read the fatigue of his defense.

Actual hot take.

Interesting idea. Maybe?

The players kept saying it would provide “quicker adjustments”. Woodson spent last season with Steele in the box so maybe Woodson was learning on the job.

It does seem clear that the HUNH is going to return in some form or fashion

One of the players mentioned that Steele being on the field would allow them to not wait until halftime to make adjustments.

That’s completely fine, but that guy’s reasoning was terrible.

Not true at all.

Just means you bring out the punt team a lot faster.

PC Version for Lanier:

From the emphasis on particular players being able to do multiple things, it seems that they intend to use the HUNH, even if it’s situationally.

To be seen if that pans out

I'm glad y'all are on the Boobie hype train, I'm not buying. A healthy Boobie might not be the starting RB at the end of the year.

Um, Whitlow is still our best back and Joiner still has not done anything from the back field except fumble the ball

What are you gloating about or did I miss it?

The fact that DJ is a lot better than Boobie and I called it at the beginning of the season. I never understood the Boobie or Bill Clark hype on this board.

Man you are all over the place this morning

What do those two things have to do with each other?

Whitlow is still our best back. I believe in time, DJ will be a better back but for now, Whitlow is still the man.

And there were tons of people here who liked DJ, not just you.

I agree about Whitlow being our best back, but that is when he is healthy. And he is rarely 100 percent healthy. Going back to midseason last year, the guy always has some sort of injury.

I hope our offensive play calling guru calls plays to score TD's and we wont have to worry about how the kicker does.
