Hall is a good scorer but our offense stops while he searches for fouls.

This team is in trouble. You can feels the wheels coming off the track. They were in the thick of it with the win at UF but since then the lack of depth has caught up to them. We’re hustling out there but we just don’t have the horses.

One of the biggest concerns s going into the season was him and Tahaad and how they would be able to play together. Both are such ball dominant guys it’s a tough lineup to really get any flow with.

We were physically outmatched all over the floor tonight. Looked like children playing grown men.

4-9 in quad 1.

We need some more quad 1 wins.

Road at Ark and Bama would be BIG upsets.

Yeah I agree. We got some real show stoppers and pett isnt even the worst.

I also don't think those two have good chemistry.

Overall Tailback I was pretty impressed in Vandy's hustle before they got in foul trouble. They seemed to always come out with the ball. I was pretty impressed at our run in the end as well even though it was too little too late.

I have already accepted we will lose at Arkansas.

If we are still in the tournament by the skin of our teeth after that game then we are probably in.

This team isn’t very good and lacks depth. Making the NCAAT would be a good year for them. Pitiful, really.

Advanced box score: Freeman is the only Tiger with a positive plus/minus at 8.

The two bigs for Vandy led Vandy with 16 and 15.

The third Vandy foul out is strange to me. I didnt remember him at all when he fouled out. Apparently he barely got stats and only played 12 minutes. 5 fouls in 12 minutes.

Don’t know that. This is still a Bruce roster too.

Bruce would’ve drug this team to 20 wins. Steven sucks

Ok what portion of coaching does he suck at?

Or better yet name one coach that would have this roster with a better record?

I tried telling yall that 10-8 would be a good season before the season. But naw yall had to go in with stupid expectations of 14-4 or 15-3.

I understand the frustration tho. It’s not a great year. It never was going to be but the basketball is boring. Going to the FT line 30-40 times a game isn’t exciting even if its about the only way we can win.

I’m willing to give Steven 3 years. I do want to see what kind of players he can bring into the program under his name and not under his Dads.

I've been one of the major guys defending his coaching ability in these threads, but giving him more than two years kinda depends on the talent he's bringing in. If he doesn't have a good roster next year and we don't make the tournament next year there is zero reason to keep him for a third year. Particularly given how Bruce forced him on us. I really don't see him bringing in talent for year three if he can't get it for year two.

I personally think we still have a decent shot at the tournament this year with this team though. Just gotta pull out 19 wins really with our schedule. But things could equally well just go off the rails and we are NIT bound.

That would more than likely get us in the tournament. But a low seed probably a 10 seed.

SOS would be our saving grace.
