Samford team parents call the police from the stands after pornstache goes ham on their kids.

Is there a chance that Hugh will give an opportunity to John Colvin? He was an absolute baller for Mtn Brook in both football and basketball and single-handedly won some games…
Before someone says “Who??”:
John Colvin
Super smart kid, could have gone to a Ivy League school, no idea why he decided to walk on at Auburn.

Yes, throwing another QB in the mix will solve the problems

John Colvin would be useful if we needed some Presbyterian flavor.

I will cry if we only score 34 against Samdord.

On a minor positive note, we gave the PAC12 a loss while their conference is on a roll to start the season all the while the SEC has suffered several notable losses.
Yeah, it was ugly.
Yeah, it was ugly.

I agree with the jang.

I do hope we throw it all over the field and get the QBs and WRs some time to work things out.
Samford can throw it all over too. I think they (can) toss it between the 20s decently. Samford isn’t good against the run.
If we do toss it more I can see us scoring less (unfortunately) than if we bring in Ashford to “punch it in…” which does nothing to help us long term. I’ll split and say the first half we score less because we throw more- but come on strong in the second.
I say at the half-
AU 20
Samford 7
I say AU 41 Samford 17 final

One QB till the rout is on and then give Holden some time, and then get Robby some time at receiver or RB.

I know there’s a risk playing starters in a rout plus it’s always nice to get the backups some in game reps, but I feel like it’s worth the risk of injury to have Thorne and the WRs in the game as long as possible. We’re short on time and cupcakes to get the offense gelling

I don't disagree, but we definitely need the backup to gather experience and snaps. I'm sure they can find a good point to make both happen.
