We just don't have the horses this year. There is a clear gap between us and the legit contenders.

Rout is on, guys. We can’t beat this team on the road as we are. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I tried telling everyone we had a limited roster and would be just above .500 in conference play. Add that with a brutal OCC makes for some tough games

Yep. Ceiling for this team is gonna be catching fire at the end of the year and just being a team others don’t want to draw in the tourney.

Counterpoint, this is the number one team in the country if they win tonight. And we’re on the road.

Honestly, fortunate to be down by only 12. That was an arse kicking.

Solid close to the half. Dont think we’ve got it in us to survive another 20 mins but glad guys showed some fight there.

I think Michigan is the real number one team but yeah.

We do have a limited roster. I hope we start recruiting more holistically like Oats does. Final 4 then bust is no good.

I will get reem’d for this, but Petti is not a Tier 1 PG to me; the average fan that watches basketball.

I see other teams who have a game manager, who’s on every game. Off games are still very productive.

We’re really missing CBM this season. He’s averaging 20+ in Overtons position I believe.

Keep fighting. We aren't going to learn by quitting mid game. That isn't the Auburn standard

The negative nancies that know Jack about basketball predictably showing up in this thread is rather amusing. The sloppy passes and turnovers by us is frustrating, but we really don't have any way to combat their size, so if they are shooting the way they are tonight we have zero shot.

Arizona is going to be in the running for a #1 seed this year, we are going to likely be a 7-9 seed type team. Losing by over 10 on the road to the likely #1 team on Monday is to be expected, particularly if we are shooting poorly like we are tonight.

Hopefully Steven makes some good adjustments at halftime like he has all year so far.

Yep try to get better production on the offensive side. Take a few better shots. Do what we can on defense and see where we are with 6 minutes to go in the game.

You aren't wrong really, at least not right now anyway. He's really more of an elite 2 guard in a point guards body. His passing skills need serious work if he is going to make it in the pros.

Yeah, if you replace Overton with CBM we are likely looking at a 4-6 seed type team instead of 7-9. Having a consistent wing besides Hall who can hit 3's at a high rate would change things tremendously for our offense.

Overton is just getting abused and he’s useless on the offensive end.
