Problem is that we have a freshman QB throwing 50 times. That’s not on the QB

What has anyone on that staff seen this season that warrants 50 passes for Bo? It’s insanity and this isn’t the first game this has happened. Make a freshman QB throw the ball that many times and we’re begging for a fumble and errant passes. It’s a miracle there weren’t more issues there

They just shared PT.

They did, but Bryant was getting the majority of the snaps. It continues to add to my point that we are talking about the highest rated QB prospect in recruiting history (or maybe second highest) compared to a kid who was a composite 4* and not even the highest rated QB in his class.

That errant pass and fumble were the problem

What about the drops? I swear Auburn fans have just become accustomed to hating whoever the QB is unless they’re a Heisman candidate

A true FR throwing 50 times against the statistic leader in overall defense is a problem. A coaching problem.

The problem is Gus and it isn't just play calling. The things that need to happen each week and during the off season aren't a part of this offensive staff because Gus is out of his league. It's a Gus issue.

Okay, well he was running when he fumbled. We don’t have the o line to run the ball. I thought passing the ball gave us a chance. It clearly did.

That was a gimme throw that he missed on akin to the 2nd baseman collecting the ground ball and air- mailing it. He also bobbled a snap too and fumbled there. We can say Nix wasn’t the problem, but his sloppy throw clearly KILLED the game.

I’ve been tough on Bo and he made some costly mistakes, but this one is on Gus. Horrible playcalling and game plan.

Couple that with the fact that we have one of the pedestrian route trees in football, plays are only designed to go outside the hashmarks, and wide receivers aren’t used in a way that utilizes their skill sets and we have what we see.

And to act like he was the only player that “killed the game” is idiotic. Thomas killed the game by giving up the long TD. Seth a Williams killed the game by dropping a third down pass that hit him in the numbers. The OL killed the game by getting blown up the entire game.

Apparently you don’t know what killed means.

I saw at least 20 slant routes tonight. Shedrick Jackson even caught a post in the middle of the field.

If Nix completes the ball to Joiner, the result would’ve been a first down or tied ball game.

Why Joiner was in there or why we throw so much wasn’t the issue. Georgia has the 4th ranked rush defense in the nation for a reason.

AUfambly: Daniel Thomas’s sloppy performance resulting in an irrelevant 0-7 score “killed” the game.

Good to know.

We probably threw more tonight than we have all season. Coming into this game, we threw the ball outside the hashmarks 85% of the time. That’s hilariously awful.

Has anyone said anything different?

Jones’s point is that yes, Nix made plenty of mistakes that he shouldn’t make, but we are consistently putting him behind the eight ball over and over again.

Bo Nix shouldn’t be a starter in the SEC, freshman-senior.

Fromm had 110 yards passing and minus 8 rushing.

Nix had 245 passing and 42 rushing.

Nix did not lose this game.

Nix is a gamer and made some good plays.

I like his upside.

It was a combination of coaching and a TF that is developed to play at this level.

There is no reason why a coach, in his 7th year, should be starting a TF at QB at the start of the season, and every game thereafter. Show me one program that has done this with success.
