Nix was completing slants and throwing hard. He missed some and made some. Same with Fromm.
But auburn was horrible in the run game. Imagine a big o line and a running game with 200 yards and not 40 excluding the QB.

It all boils down to a coach played a player, who was not ready for the big show, this season. The player did not make the plays, but the coach took a chance that no one else would have.

He did kill any chance of tieing the game with 4 minutes left with a bad 4th down throw. The chances of winning dropped drastically afterwards. Those are facts. He gets blame for it. He doesn’t get blamed for the whole game, just his share of mistakes.
