I was watching the '87 AU-UF game on YouTube other night. Different era for sure. UF had a guy playing with a broken jaw that was wired shut. Wouldn't see that anymore.

Clearly Freeze connects with the players pretty well, but his role should be to establish a team identify at all costs. Looks like everyone is just kind of doing their own thing out there on offense and defense.

The current state of the program is worse. The 2012 team was bookended (for the most part) with a ship and a Gus booger picker but still decent year.
The last decade has been abysmal and the future looks even worse. This will be one of the worst eras of Auburn football ever when all is said and done. You’ll see.

Defense is the only reason we aren't getting blown out by 3 TDs or more right now after another 5 TO game.
