The difference to me is that Schwartz' speed never showed on the field really. if I didn't know he was fast, I would assume hes a 4.5 guy because of how limited his impact is. Im taking Seth Williams over him 10/10 times

Wait, so Christian Tutt is going PRO after all?

Is this dude high?

Do you think he had a choice? Its pretty obvious that Harsin told all the guys who "committed to the transfer portal" good luck and goodbye. He is a hardass (as per everyone at Boise) and not the type who is going to play with kids who want to leave.

Here's what I think happened with Tutt:

1) Decides he's going Pro. NFL advisers/agents are like "LOL are you insane?"
2) "Changes his mind" and announces that he's entering the portal expecting that Georgia or some shite is going to come calling. Finds out that there's a million players already in there and his actual options are schools like Troy.
3) Probably tries to re-join the Auburn team and gets told "we wish you luck in all your future endeavors".
4) Decides to just say frick it and "go Pro"/move on with his life.

Beside Swartz and Seth I see a lot of UDFA. Too bad they can’t just come back.

Sherwood probably gets drafted in the 3-5 range.

Peters might be versatile enough to get a late look. He can play nickel and safety plus he’s a great special teams guy. That might get him drafted.

Britt really never developed the pass coverage skills needed to be drafted. He had a great week at the senior bowl so you never know. But he looks like a UDFA.

Peters and Britt are seniors and have degrees. I’m sure they’re ready to move on. Eli Stove is a super senior that’s got nothing left to show on the football field, IMO. Also can’t fault him for moving on instead of playing a 6th season

It’s really just Tutt that didn’t make sense to me

My prediction-

Schwartz 2nd
Sherwood 3rd
Seth 4th
Britt 5th

The rest UDFA

Tutt should stay in school get his degree and go work on his career away from football. I put up better numbers in high school. 36” vert and 4.55 40 and I was 5’11”. Worst vision ever as a QB. I think I could have played at some small school if they would have left me at running back like I played until I got into high school. Baseball worked out good for me tho.

And you think playing RB would have been better?

I had vision as a running back. Different kind of vision playing QB. Running back was my natural position always had been but the high school coach was the same that my brother had and he was all state at in ‘77. He went on to sign with Bear and got moved to Corner. I could throw just sucked when pressured. Natural instinct was to take off running. We were hell on wheels running silent snap QB sneaks lol

Mike Tomlin was at Schwartz's pro day this morning, too. "It must mean something that the head man is here."

Would be a great destination for him. Players love playing for that guy

Austeeler why do you think Britt goes undrafted? Coverage skills?

In this day of NFL, yes...coverage seems to be a bigger issue these days for the LB.

He is a little short too, and would be your classic MLB. He can thump and hit very well.

He could be a situational LB...and that is why I think he goes undrafted or no higher than 7th.

I think he goes a little higher just based on run fits and thumping but probably a first second down player that get pulled on dime situations. Have to remember his film from last year was really good in the run game.

Schwartz also gets knocked over and off balance easily. I agree. He’s a field stretcher, which is valuable, but not first 2 rounds valuable. He would have benefited from another year of S&C, skipping track (if football is his ticket), and focus on getting stronger. He’s a 5th round lottery ticket to me at this point.

Sherwood’s 40 time was a bit surprising. I would have thought 4.6 at worst. That’s a big concern.
