Why do you know how much your son is turning down sex and blowjobs? That’s weird as frick.

That’s really not all that weird. I would love for my kids to confide and feel comfortable talking to me about stuff, but I can already tell they already know not to bring anything up regarding a few topics. My wife and kids think I can be preachy about shite but at the same time I have to preach about shite over and over because it it goes through one ear and out the other. So it’s a catch 22. Don’t want me to preach about loading the dishwasher. Don’t just let dishes sit in the sink, with food in pans drying out. Stuff like that.

I’ve got a 20 year old boy and 12 year old boy. One truth that rings true…if they catch us hide stuff from mama, they’ll hide stuff from mama, and papa. It can start out as little things. If we try and hide that fast food burger and they see, they’ll hide bigger stuff from us.

Sooo has Hunter been kicked off team or just suspended while they do an internal investigation?

Suspended until they do an investigation. Meaning nothing has really changed since it’s summer.

I have raised 4 boys. All but 1 made it until at least 18 before having sex. Sex much like drugs and drinking and driving were topics discussed regularly once one of the boys got through puberty. I think we as a family did pretty damn good with that. Not sure if you have children or not but once they get past 12 you better be able to have discussions about anything with them. Because they are going to discuss it. Would you rather some kids, or the world, or yourself be the influence in your children’s life?
Plus the entire point wasn’t even about my son. It was the behavior of teenage and young ladies. They are different than 20 years ago. There is no slut shaming. They brag about their body count much like dudes used to talk about who they smashed when shooting the shite with the fellas.

Sounds like you haven’t been preaching enough Jesus.

Jesus taught reality in the current world to the Jews in his ministry. I teach my family the principles of Christianity applied to todays world.
I could understand if he was whoring around that I need to do more. But when his mother and I found out he had messed around he got his arse chewed but also sat down and discussed what could happen. Would he want her father to know? Her grandmother which works at the school as well.
Plus we discussed in a Christian apologetics way of what sin is and God know we son daily but as a young Christian he needs to turn away from sin. That if you give into temptation each time it gets easier and easier.

Anyway back to Hunter. We probably won’t know the details of the actual facts unless a civil case is brought up. Not sure Jarquez age exactly possibly 20 and I assume he’s never been in trouble before and probably even if he did do something criminal and plea down and also claim youthful offender status.
I’m not trying to take any sides and it’s a shame that Jarquez has been dragged through if he broke no laws.
I am just trying to use my life experience of being around 15-18 year old boys and girls on a daily basis and the change in behavior for both the past 20 years.

I've steered clear of even trying to delve into the affairs of a college kid & his free time. Super disappointed in him & terrible for Auburn, but at the end of the day, if this is all there is, (when is that ever the case?) then we'll just have to see. I just think of the celebs who do similar or other college age kids caught doing far worse ...

Presidents sons on camera snorting coke off a strippers arse but it's only the rest of us who have to worry about unbecoming behavior

The drugs, hookers & knocking up strippers while banging his dead brother's widow are bad. But the former VP's pay for play scandals are a far bigger breach of national security and sacred trust.

I got to Auburn the end of Barfield. Cribbs smoking dope in the ath dorm so they moved him to Mag Hall "for closer supervision". Caught again, back to ath dorm "for closer supervision". At a party on Friday night and starters drunker than cooter brown and a noon kickoff the next day. The 42 to nothing humiliation by Tenn.
Then Im at the frat house and the starting tackle on our team stopped by to pick up his sister after dinner and I asked him about the new coach Dye. He said in the team meeting he told our best DL player he was going to run steps because he missed curfew and he said he wasnt doing that....and Dye took his scholly right there in front of everyone and asked the assts to help him pack up his stuff.
We didnt start winning SEC championships right away, but no team left Auburn without knowing they were in a tussle, one hell of a tussle.
I get the same feeling now, the same feeling.
