On the bright side...I've heard the contract and buyout are very favorable for Auburn

Dude should be one of the lowest paid in the conference and have a stout morality/twitter clause.

Can't wait to see who follows through with this.

Is Hugh my first choice? No. But I'll be damned if I'm gonna say I'm turning my back on my university over hiring a football coach.

I just want touchdowns, baby!

I’d rather have Prime but I’m all for it. I think he has a chance to kill it here.

$5mm I think. We're probably in for 6 with a bunch of incentives that take it way higher if he performs.

I've wanted Freeze since Ole Miss fired him. His time at Liberty has done nothing but confirm that desire. Auburn will give him access to the most resources he has ever had and we are in the NIL era where ncaa infractions become irrelevant (and even if they weren't irrelevant, I don't want a coach who insists on "doing it the right way").

Give him an assistant that handles all his social media, give him an endless supply of burner phones courtesy of Tim Cook, and let's ride.

And oh yeah, hire an elite defensive coordinator.

So realistically bump it to $6 mill which makes him like the 8th highest in the conference.

I pretty far from that crowd. But damn, he just isn't that great of coach.
