Don't hate... just ambivalent. Not everyone gets that privilege.

Fair enough. I liked Mason. Defense wasn’t always great and had some particularly bad quarters but overall that unit was the least of my concern.

I don't think this is that important from a coaching perspective but I do from a recruiting perspective, and if you can't recruit it doesn't really matter how well you can coach.

Yeah well it was still Vanderbilt.

Peterson left Harsin a solid team.
Between 2001- 2013 and two different head coaches Boise only had 23 losses
Harsin had 17 there in 6 years

Harsin ain’t great either.

Mason should have been fired after the MSU/USC debacle

Why is this so hard for some here to accept?

I like Mason but losing your $hit over Vandy's ex-coach??? Give me a freakin break!

The good news is this will work out great or we'll have a new coach in a couple of years.

WDE!!!

No, but I’m not holding that against Mason. It’s a strange thing to hold against Mason.

Why? Publicity stunt aimed at the "woke" crowd. Last time I checked, football coaches weren't hired for that bullshite, and anyone with half a brain, could see how something like that could destroy a locker room and make the team a laughing stock. He basically said, that Vandy didn't have a guy on the team, that could kick better than a girl. Then she went on to kick the ball about 15 yards or so.

Yep and if you could put yourself in that position of those kids in that locker room and your boss saying "I don't believe in you" not in words but in actions then that can be too much for some and rip apart the locker room. Because that tells me that the coach isn't really there to win but to get his name in the papers. And probably anyone on that team could have kicked it farther...

Giving up 10 points to bama in regulation was great! Let's have more of that please!

Love a good one game sample size

Mason wasn’t the best DC we’ve ever had but defense was the least of our concerns this year.
