People can't stand Bruce and what he has created here.
I still can't fathom how Pearl can be faulted for Person accepting bribes for trying to convince two players (one an AU legacy) to leave early. That's "cheating"?

BTW, here's what the author of the linked article said about another controversial HC a few years ago. The headline pretty much says it all.

frick that guy.

But honestly, I like the us against the world mentality anyway.

I feel like we should also start this way!

Nothing but gatekeeping losers that still don't want us to be invited to the party. It's annoying, but time to just ignore them post-NIL. They'd rather keep their bias instead of watching really entertaining basketball. Gonzaga good. Auburn bad. Wish they'd actually research our rosters instead of blindly hating. Guess we're such a high-performing program now that the only way college elitists can handle it is to cry cheating. And if our rosters were so overloaded with cheating, why are we always ranked so low preseason after being a top 10 program four of the last five seasons? And if we're such big cheaters, why did they think we were going to suck at point guard this season?

subtle back handed compliment, but he’s not really wrong

I don’t see it as back handed. It really is the truth. The time between Ellis and Pearl was really really bad…

Yeah as far as landing highly sought after high profile guys we do fine, usually get 1 every year but we are certainly not the best.

I said backhanded because he referenced “building” as opposed to “rebuilding.” Typically someone would use the latter term in that sentence, but it doesn’t really apply for AU.

Ok fellas yes I know it’s not our mentality but the teams mentality more but time to move on to the next game. Ole miss away. Any away game is dangerous. Especially for a team that has played very few of them. This is definitely getting into the grind of the conference season. We still have 14 conference games to go and 15 regular season games. Long way to go and no time to let up. Gotta keep our heads on straight and keep getting better. Oh yeah I’m gonna enjoy the season but I do want some type of championship this season, conference regular season, conference tourney, ncaa. Something.

Wendell Green highlight film is so amazing already. Doesn’t even include half court heave.

UCLA goes down in their empty arena to a team without a single Quad 1 or 2 win. The USC and UCLA problem kinda fixed itself all at once Go Arizona.

Keep in mind that Kermit’s defenses have typically given Bruce trouble.

Shuler is gone. The guy with the face.

I felt so bad for him I didn’t mind losing to him.

Time to win.

We could definitely lose this game make no mistake. Just last Saturday they handled a solid Miss State team at home. They have three rotation guys who had offers from Bruce in Murrell, Brakefield, and Ruffin. They’ve been pretty inconsistent this year but beat Memphis, Miss St. and took UT to OT on the road

Yes, they are deciplined and play a brand that gives PEarl some fits.

As anyone said aways games are always iffy. And after a big win against your rival, that took it 40 mins to hold off and win, there could be a mental letdown.

We have enough bench that if one guys not on, the others can pick it up.

Need Keesler to be a smarter rim protector since they are going to now go after him w/ the quicker guys.

ESPN's "BPI" is some comic relief. Jeebus. Kentucky 5, LSU 7, Tennessee 10, Auburn 12. Definitely missing its opportunity to be called the Bruce Pearl Index.

Yeah our strength isn’t just the depth of rotation it’s the depth of weapons. Easier to avoid let down games when you need 3 of 5 or 6 different guys to bring it offensively rather than the same 2 or 3 guys every night.

Jabari, KD, Kessler, Wendell, Flanigan, Jaylin, and even a couple others are capable of 15+ points and shot creation on any given night

When have you seen Dylan Cardwell or KD have mental letdowns? They are too passionate.

If you give Chris Moore 30 mins of ball, Is he going to “take it easy”?

Same for Jaylin.

This team is fighting each other for minutes and they appreciate every time they step on the court. They are special.

It’s why I said a 4 seed was out “floor” a few weeks ago. (Even though most laughed at me).
