I hate we have dumbass fans that want to attack players directly on twitter. Marquis is bringing the heat.

Why not just hate Twitter. It’s cancer. Delete it and be happy

Na, I filter out most of the negative stuff. Jabari is retweeting the couple of dumbasses tagging him about the game though.

I don't see Kessler having the game to play in the NBA right now.
He's basically a more athletic Clint Capela right now. Thats without his offensive game developing anymore.. if he develops he could easily be a starter in the league for many years.

You have to have something to cheer about.

That's unbelievable and in truth almost unforgiveable.

When you miss a ton of shots and commit a bunch of live-ball turnovers, that’s what happens…

this game came down to the start of the 2nd half… gave a quick 8-0 run and we were never in it from there.

We never led… not much to cheer about, outside of maybe the last 4 min of the first half

I really thought after that run to end the half they would come out hot, just never happened.

Damn. Marquis Daniels made that fan blasting Jabari Smith delete his account.

Me too… I thought we’d dominate getting Kessler back in and out depth would show up… instead the exact opposite happened… we looked gassed.

That said, if smith/Kessler just make the layups it’s a different game… not saying we win, but it prob goes down to the wire.

Yea, I really thought we would be the team to come out and go on a little run and not look back considering how we finished the first half. Couldn't have been more wrong.

ETA: Just read everyone's posts, clearly we were all in the same frame of mind.

Iowa, I think our plan was to push inside but Walker isn’t a good finisher and it showed beginning of 1st half and again 2nd half. By the time we adjusted Miami was up 9 both times and we could not make it up

I think we completely underestimated their quickness and our lazy passes haunted us again

Lazy passing and lack of quickness killed us. KD did all he could last night.

The lazy passes were mind blowing. I get it the first couple of minutes getting up to the speed of the game and seeing how they were overplaying everything but to make no adjustments, both in strategy and focus/effort, over the course of 40 min is hard to understand.

Yep. They pressed hard and went hard on the fast breaks.

Fast Break Points
Miami - 30
Auburn - 1

I think there were many red flags the last month of the season but Bruce couldn't fix it. Many of us tried to make no big deal about it but it was worse than we thought. We consistently couldn't score and we lacked adjustments. I love Bruce and hope he coaches us until he dies but the one thing that I wish he would change is his half court offense. It's stagnant and most of the shot clock is burned away with our guards just standing there and dribbling.

It’s easy to sit here and say ‘make adjustments’… it’s another to actually find and implement them. Everyone wanted more of the offense to run through Jabari… well he was 1-13 last night.

To Bruce’s credit he actually has an offense that he implements and runs… but the limitations with the backcourt could not be over come consistently.

Yeah I think the "we got outcoached" take is always so lazy. Not that Bruce never gets outcoached, he does, like every coach does at some point.. but armchair head coaches are always a little quick on the trigger with that one. I think last night Miami certainly had an excellent game plan but if Jabari and Kessler could have finished like they have 98% of this season it would have been a different game.
