Wen, KD, Zep blah blah blah. The ball should get in Jabari's hands and we don't even try.

I’d rather see Jabari run the pick and roll with Kessler. If it’s not there, shoot it.

What has to be done to get this team going coming out the gate? At least half the time, we're lucky to have 15 ten minutes through the first half.

Then the second half almost always has a 5-10 minute lull.

We're just too shrimpy at the guard positions and can't hit shots. We get blown up when we play guards with length and athleticism. I think we are Sweet Sixteen if we are playing well. Great season.

It’s all matchup dependent. That’s where our fate and success is realized.

2 OT losses and 1 road game 1 point loss aren’t the end of the world though.

If we can secure some kind of title I could personally breathe little easier.

Jabari isn’t the kind of player it’s easy to get the ball to there. He’s just not. You might as well say “I don’t see why we don’t try to get Kessler a wide open dunk”

100%. March is all about matchups. There’s no team that is gonna want to play us. Period. That doesn’t mean we couldn’t get bounced first weekend tho by a 7-10 seed. It happens every year. Duke has 5*s at 3/5 positions pretty much every year and have won 3 titles in 20 years. 5 in 30. It’s arguably the toughest championship to win in sports. All I takes is an off day and you’re done. March is unforgiving and has shown time and time again the “best” team doesn’t always win. It takes a lot of luck, calls, and bounces in your favor to win a championship in basketball.

Do we fall to number 3 or 4 in the polls? I assume Arizona jumps us to the 2 spot but does UK jump us to 3 and us to 4 or does our head to head keep us at 3?

Heart says 3 Head says 4.

Still at current time we should be a 1 seed in the tourney imo

Bad coaching for first time in a while on Bruce.

I'm not scared to say it..... I see a lot of yall dunking on WG but I don't think BP put enough emphasis on how quickly he needed to go. 7.8 seconds isn't a long time and WG was waiting on something to develop with KEssler.

BP should have called something a lot quicker ( not a pick and roll). Or called TO when it wasn't happening.

I agree with that. I also think Wen was talking it down the floor too slowly the entire last 2-3 minutes. We'd be down five and he's strolling up the floor.

He just isn’t very fast. He isn’t that difficult to guard off the ball. Once he gets the ball, that jump shot is almost impossible to defend, but he isn’t a hard play to face guard off ball.

Yeah. I think if we would have had 12+ seconds left we could have gotten him the ball. With 7 the best way to get him a shot was what we planned to do. Pick and roll, and if the guy helped off Jabari to defend Kessler rolling, we’d have hit him for the shot. As someone else pointed out, next time in a similar situation the emphasis should be placed on getting down hill as quickly as possible, and if they go under it just fire away from deep so we’d at least have a chance to rebound it and score. Which, btw, give me Cambridge over Flanigan on the court when we might need a second chance to win it

Bruce said the same thing.

The problem is u can go to option 2 w 7 secs and more than likely u are going to need to get the shot off at 6 secs.

But BP needs to work w WG on making quicker decisions so we CAN get a shot off.

Someone said the call was a pass to Kessler and a handoff back to Green but if you watch the replay it doesn’t look like flanigan even looked at Kessler

He's 6' 10 almost always by guys smaller than he is. He's easy to get the ball to if you try.
