24-20 Auburn. God I hope we win. Their fans are so damn cocky about the game.

Like this, me thinks. But / and...the odd special teams play will make the difference (at least on the spread and O/U).

I think it's a lot to ask of Auburn at this point
My gut says it feels like a game we'll win, but I also think I just have a lot of bias against high billed non-SEC matchups during the regular season.

We have too many unknowns. OL and WR rooms are a huge concern. I can’t fathom that they’ll hold up well enough to win this one.

If we were playing a UF/LSU/UGA/UA who has looked like Penn State has in the first two weeks, at their place, at night...
I think I'd probably be going with a score like yours. I think it's my bias against non-SEC programs that makes me think we'll win this one. Probably not rational, but at the same time it's just really hard to gauge teams, and I think Big 10 teams in particular.

I’ve been way off thus far on the scores. This week I hope I’m way off with the winners and losers.
Only one regular season P5 OOC win in the last 24 seasons. Don’t see it happening in only game #3 of Harsin’s tenure.

23-17 AU. Anders goes 3/3 while PSU’s kicker misses 1 or 2 like he did against Wiscy and it costs them.

Yeah I didn’t realize that their kicker missed a chip shot field goal and an extra point in that game. Kicking could play huge in a game like this.
Also, Penn States defense held strong in the red zone, blocking a field goal themselves and holding Wisconsin to another one when they drove deep into Penn State territory. That was something we struggled with big time under Gus, and wasn’t perfect in the first half against Alabama State. I’m hoping we can just lean on Tank and Hunter when we get in the red zone to cap off drives, but probably need a few well designed play calls ready to capitalize on those opportunities as well.

I think the receivers step up and we keep PSU off balance. I think it is going to be close going into the fourth but then their D starts to tire and we pull away 31 - 17.

I’m worried about our o line holding up against their DL. That’s what will determine the outcome, IMO. Gonna need a good offensive game plan to keep the line honest.
