FOX sucks. Are they worse than Beth Mowins? RGIII not great but not awful.

I agree RGIII isn’t terrible but I have never heard him call a Baylor game. However he seems to come off as an announcer that likes to highlight players and doesn’t get in depth about schemes and such. However I didn’t like Gary Danielson because of his bias he really studied each team and attended practice of each team in game week so he knew the game plan for each at least offensively. Hard to top that.
I expect the broadcast to be pro Baylor but not hate Auburn. They will definitely bring up the 9 national championships. Good, Good. Melt!

He just says the stupidest statements when trying to animate things. It is different, but he is like listening to Gus Johnson to me. Both are just nails on a chalkboard.

I didn't think about that at all. He'll probably go all in homer if I had to guess. I could see him doing that. I have the benefit that I will be at the Spain Park - Hoover game and watching in the stands so I won't be able to hear what they are saying anyways.

Jason Benetti is a great play by play guy. He called White Sox games for several years after Ken Harrelson retired and did an incredible job. It was a big loss when he left. I’ve never heard him call a football game, but I can’t imagine he won’t be great at that too.
As an aside, he overcame Cerebral Palsy to become a broadcaster. Makes it even more impressive how good he is.

He is one that if something happens in a game he disagrees with (call or whatever), he won't let it go the rest of the damn game. It is insufferable.
