Possibly for 2 season but the consecutive losing season this is the worst in Auburn football history

Run QB up the middle for a 2 to 3 yard loss several times and lots of repeated failed screens with similar results. The whole team looked timid the whole first half. Need an offensive playbook that the other team can't see coming a mile away.
Joel Gordon, Auburn’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, is the primary (and sole designated) play-caller on game day in 2026.

My kids are gonna graduate without being conscious of a good AU team

It’s definitely youth movement time on the OL and mixing in Tia to see what he can do a few drives a game.

We are in dire need of the running back commit we have also. He can be a bell cow after learning and playing as a freshman

Kids born after 2008ish really have no concept of Auburn as a football school.

Biggest issue I have with coaching is Golesh rolled the dice on all the USF transfers for continuity and its failed miserably.
Brown gives us the most chance to win but do need to see Tia some. I don’t think Tia is ready but need to see more. Definitely has a huge arm but can’t see the field but you don’t learn that in a VR as much as coaches love those things

Just constant little things that put us behind the 8 ball. I just don’t get it. This is stuff pop warner level coaches get right. How do you out think yourself that much constantly.
I remember doing snap count drills when I was eight fricking years old.

A bowl game?
We will be lucky to go 5-7.

We aren't going to get an inflush of more OL, but all the penalties are on the coaching staff!
Not to mention, Brown holding the ball way too long with a line that is only good for 2 seconds most of the time.

All of my boys play football currently. If a linemen gets a false start. They are pulled. Same for every position. I have never seen a football program rewarding screw ups like we do.

The play calling, for 99% of the game, was last-girl-in-the-bar ugly.

You already said Jole Gordon is the play caller.
We complain about the play calling. But when you can’t run the football because of lack of talent what do you do when your offense is created to run the football and everything builds off of that

You call plays to open up the run. You use the middle of the field, which we don’t. 25 bubble screens ain’t going to cut it.

At this point we allow punts at the 5. We dont even chew them out for it. We are allowing it so much that our punt returner talks shite after it. These dudes are not fearing coaches. They commit penalties like a Freeze team for you Cignetti dudes

New day - catch the ball between the 5 and 10.
Didn't really cause us any problems today. If were at the 1 or 2 we probably get a safety.

True.
Watching this offense is kin to sitting in the car, watching a backyard football game. 9999

Go back and watch our 4th down play late in the 4th. Look who is tripping over his own shoelaces with the snap.
It’s very easy to see the problem.
Is our OL good? No. We would be lucky for 8-4 or 9-3 with them.
But with this QB and coach, we’ll be under 500 again.

punters are a lot better. Can make the ball behave at will, not perfect, but they are better.
