FYI only. There are large wildfires raging in NC and a few in north Georgia. Believe it or not, a cold front moving in resulted in north winds blowing smoke into Atlanta. All of Atlanta very hazy and smoky today. Wonder if this will affect game day in Athens?

Both teams will probably have to go deep into their depth charts this weekend.

I know elite teams pay attention to every little detail. I'm not saying the smoke will affect the passing game, but it probably wouldn't hurt to have some additional O2 tanks on the sidelines. Exercise-induced asthma is common and can be exacerbated by smoke. It could make both teams even more sluggish in the 4th Quarter.

Some saline solution bottles to rinse the eyes might not be bad prep either. The stuff is cheap and everybody may need it.

The wind has already changed direction so that should help. It's also supposed to blow pretty good Saturday (SSW 16mph) and Athens is far enough east so hopefully it won't be an issue during the game.

Eason and their RBs have a solid day, but we're just a better team and too much to overcome when their defense can't get off the field.

You should be fishing on the lake all day this week like I have. It has sucked very badly.

Is Ok in the morning then by 10:00, there is only about 50 yards visibility.

My 29-15 prediction had 5 FGs for each side.

Defense: I desperately hope that the defense shores up the middle in the passing game. I think Vandy gave a bit of a blue print as far as the passing game is concerned. I don't want another late fourth quarter drive to determine the outcome of the game.

Offense: With the uncertainty of injuries, I'm not sure what to think here. I expect we see a heavy dose of ST running the ball and of course ES on the jet sweep to open up the middle running game. I would love for KJ to be a big contributor, but I'm skeptical as to his health. I'm not getting my hopes up that KP plays and if he doesn't, I hope is 100% for the IB.

AU-24

Puppies-20

I would love the score to be more lopsided for the good guys.

Would be nice to not get UGAs best punch for a change... I feel like every year they get the shite kicked out of them by UF and turn around a couple weeks later and play their best game of the year against us.
