After last week's game I was pissed and convinced we'd go 0-2 in SEC play through Amen Corner. That's probably how a lot of fans feel. I said it in another thread, but the AU fan base, at least on the Rant, for the most part is spoiled after such a magical season. Going from worst to first will do that to you.
Keep in mind how sick you're feeling about the A&M game and then think how bad the players and coaches feel. Extra motivation this week will definitely be a factor.
As far as making you feel good about this game, we match up with UGA MUCH better than we did against A&M. Plus, we had everything go wrong for us in that last game - CAP fumble early, scoop and score off a blocked FG, fumble on the 2 yd line, and the last fumble and we still only lost by 3.
Florida rushed for 418 yards against them. Hopefully our backs can do the same.
This team still feels like they have a lot to play for.
Our offense other than the turnovers above really has been clicking.
It's a rivalry game and can go either way.

They have a thread on their board basically dedicated to this.

Any Georgia lurkers can go eat a bag of dicks.
AU 34- UGA 28. Auburn wins on some controversial call that goes our way. UGA heads implode again. Providing melt hilarity for another 12 months.

I'm picking a loss for this one and the Iron Bowl (unless something major changes in Athens).
We've done either bleh (KSU) or awful (MSST) in hostile away environments and these will be the worst all year. Both stadiums will be the loudest they've been in a long time and our guys haven't shown the mental fortitude to play a full 60 minutes through that. It's difficult to underscore how absolutely frothing both environments will be, since they basically spend all year hating us the most.
Hoping for the best but covering my nuts.

I think a lot of AU folk with this mindset are totally ignoring UGA. They just got destroyed in their other rivalry game, if you remember.
This game will play out a lot like 2013 IMO, except they don't have Aaron Murray dropping back to pass. Which is nice, considering we don't have Ford and Lawson coming off the edge either.

Damn what a thread full of negabarners.
This isn't your UGA teams of the past 3-4 years, girls. Just because we lost last week and the game is at UGA doesn't mean shite. We are better coached and have better players.
42-30. Good guys.

They can't leave their melt, brah.
They've adopted it, fed it, cuddled it, and kept it close since Saturday.

No kidding. It's like that scene from Tropic Thunder all up in here. The one with Ben Stiller being held captive and forced to act out Simple Jack every night.

Depends on which Auburn team shows up.
Both teams have terrible defenses.
Both teams have excellent run attacks.
Auburn has the better Qb
Georgia has home field advantage
Its an evenly matched game. 30s-30s type game.

I hope we bat down a Hail Mary attempt of theirs to close out the win.

I would say that if we score 30 or more, we win - but our defense has proven that they are completely unreliable and I'm sure they will give up at least 30 points to Georgia also.

We traditionally fare very well against pro style ordownhill running teams. It is teams that can pass we struggle with
