we are AU, nobody who isnt an alum would deliberately choose this misery

I’ve never understood that thinking. So does the hundreds of thousands my family paid over the decades for season tickets not matter just because I attended a different university?
I know the post isn’t about me as I rarely post but I love Auburn with every fiber of my being. That’s all that’s required in my eyes. Where you got your post high school education should not determine your fan status in my eyes.
Now if it were AuFamily i was told multiple times to find a different board because I called a spade a spade and said Patrick Nix was making a mistake letting Bo play under Gus. I do believe history proved me correct on that argument.

So I say welcome to any and all “sidewalk” fans. They actively choose to support Auburn and we need them.

I don't care whether this is a board for AU grads or not. I do believe, that if you graduated from AU, you have more deserving to complain or have input on a situation regarding AU.
When the constant whining and complaining comes from posters who never attended AU; then yes, their opinion means much less to me than someone who attended and graduated from AU. Having kids that also graduated from AU are bonus points. Just let me know if I can answer any more questions. I appreciate your asking. BTW, those pictures you posted of your shop looked great. I am starting to play around with car detailing as a hobby and would love to build out a car detailing shop one day.

The difference is that you aren't daily whining and crapping on a new coach multiple times daily before the entire player procurement process has occurred. I have always remembered you to present logical arguments whether I agreed with them or not and you don't devolve into name calling, etc.
I hear you about AUFamily as I was permabanned for calling Gus autistic. That board has done a 180 since then. It is much more like this one now. They let me come back after 6 years.

Sidewalk fans are perfectly fine and we need all of them. I would just prefer not having emotional fragile sidewalk fans trolling the board. Obviously, what I prefer means nothing so there is always that.

This is a true and fair statement from Jones. You do need someone who stirs stuff up just to get some traffic on the board. I prefer when someone stirs stuff up with actual info. Metafour is a good example of someone who definitely stirs stuff up, but he backs the stuff he stirs up.

They are very good. And I was able to afford them and figure out how to install them all with a Devry education. But i was in the upper 30% of my class so I have that going for me.

If your problem is me crapping on a new coach then I am guilty as charged. On Steven, that is. If you alumni are too afraid to say he didn't deserve the job then I did. Quite frankly I have heard so many alumni lead the whining cat calls on just as many stupid things. Yall would have rather lead Pat Nix out to Pasture to be stoned "Bo NiX iS rUiNiNg My DiPlOma!"
I am not as much crapping on Golesh. Moreso his roster philosophy and those that are defending the spin on "overpaying" players. Yes we threw the bag at certain players and hopefully we always will. That's the only way to attract talent. People begged for receivers when Freeze addressed it. We even branded our goals at WR the Freeze 5. People are blaming Freeze's and QB struggles on the receivers and that is dumb. Money being thrown around isnt why we sucked. Money is literally why Faulk and Lew will be representing Auburn in the draft.

Jang, I don’t think Steven deserved the role to be given to him as it was. I feel there should have been a coaching search but I don’t think there was a plan to do one. I think Bruce and Cohen timed this all and Steven was going to be their guy. I think Steven needed to go prove himself elsewhere and didn’t deserve the job that Bruce elevated it to.

Rocky, I had similar experience with AUFamily amd came here mostly to lurk. Before I had joined it didnt seem like there wasnt a whole lot of traffic here and AUF had it. I still check AUF a couple times a day but, it has been so long since I logged in that I dint recall my password anyways.
Im guessing they did a 180 because of everyone that left.
For those that still post on AUF. The football board is a little slow being the off-season. Do any of you have the subscription that allows you to in the "Nest" forum? I just wanna know if theres enough traffic that its worth paying their "donation" to read
