To think this year's edition of Auburn is my favorite since 2010?

- We have an awesome returning QB
- Very Talented Backfield(I mean we don't worry much about backs at auburn)
- Awesome WR groupings
- OL is a question mark but Center is the only position I'm overly concerned about
- Probably the best DL in the country
- return most if not all LBs
- very experienced DBs
- Special teams will be better than recent years with Carlson and sipposs.

-Staff improved with additions of woodson and grimes teaching.
-Both returning coordinators for the first time since idk when.

We are probably upgrading on talent from last year, but losing experience. Could be weird.

I am cautiously optimistic for this year. Gus needs to show me he can win a big game away from Jordan-Hare. Team has talent to win the SEC but that schedule is brutal. Most of all I want another 10 win season. Obviously winning a title is the goal but get me a 10 win year & I would call it a major success

I would say 2014 if you are talking expectations going into the season.

Also, last year going in, I thought we were legit national champion contenders.

Both years I bet on us to win the national championship. Dont remember the 2014 odds, last year was 20-1.

I think this years team may be more talented overall than either the 2014 team or last years, but we are light on experience and are going to need a few games for our Oline and backs to get game experience with each other. And playing UGA and bama on the road makes me think a title run is going to be tougher this year than last year or 2014, the two years since 2010 I felt best about to start the season.

Their first four are ridiculous. All will be first round picks which is insane to think about.

I want to believe.

My body just is not ready yet. Not feeling comfy about a few of our positions.

Plus our tough schedule

I just feel like this could turn out to be a very consistent, solid, top 10ish team that still loses 3 games.

Did college football do away with the offensive line position? No? Then I can’t possibly have hope until I see something better here.

our OL wasnt as bad as the first 2 games showed. We took 15 sacks in the 1st 2 games but took 14 sacks for the rest of the season. So after the first 2 games we only avg. like less than 1 sack per game. We took 5 sacks vs UCF.

Our OLine wont be terrible imo.

don’t get too negative Lanier, it’d be too dark here without your sunbeams of positivity

I have learned not to have any expectations. My heart has been broken too many times.

I do think we are very talented.

I think our D is just as talented, if not more, than last year.

I do believe Stidham will be improved and more comfortable in the O.

The success of our O depends on the OL. I have many questions about that bunch.

Not crazy, I feel like we are in a good position this year. Like you I am most worried about the OL, if they can give Stidham enough time to read the field - he has the accuracy and ability to make great plays.

Then we have Cam Martin who I am excited to see this year. One fast kid who I believe will be a crucial part of our offense.

The defense? We are stacked. I'm ready to see how well they stop Washington
