I wouldn’t hate Arnold. He has all the physical tools you want.
How much of this season is on system/OC, they were down I think 5 WR’s most of the year and OL May have been worse than ours. So, hard to judge. He had some really great flashes of play and some really dumb stuff.
The known QB’s in the portal so far, are almost all gambles.

Holy shite, Jackson Arnold had 715 yards rushing this season but lost 271 in sacks due to their atrocious O-Line…

Auburn becomes frontrunner to land former Stanford QB Ashton Daniels.

Daniels was a solid dual-threat quarterback for the Cardinal in three seasons. He completed 60.8% of his passes for 3,986 yards and 21 touchdowns with 1,121 yards on the ground and an additional nine scores. In 2024, he threw for 1,700 yards and 10 scores while rushing for a career-best 669 yards.
His downside is his tendency to turn the ball over. He threw 12 interceptions in 2024, one higher than his touchdown total, and 20 picks over the last three seasons. According to Pro Football Focus, Daniels threw 16 “turnover-worthy” passes in 2024, 12 were intercepted.
I don't about another turnover machine.
