Tom Loy 247 national guy and former ND reporter posted on the BG to look for something to happen in regards to Deuce Knight on Aug 30th. Says his information and sources make him believe the flip to Auburn will happen that day

I dont really get the need to wait to flip. It's not like coaches are recruiting hard right now and players like to get that kind of stuff done before the season.

Only reason I can ever see is if the recruit wants to have an announcement event type thing. Which, admittedly is still silly if you are already committed somewhere and are switching, but it is what it is.
Maybe they have a pep rally for their home game that night and are doing something then for it. Who knows (if that is in fact try and something happens then).

It is the day of his teams first game so the speculation was that he would announce at the pep rally.

Auburn 247 page is featuring news about the Mills-Knight announcement, which always makes me wonder. They don't usually set their subscriber base up for disappointment if they know better. Maybe they are just milking it for clicks until end of the week when they will report he is "trending" to Ole Miss.
