Giving Duece number 2# won't do him any favors in my opinion.

Read a good story about Freeze when they were coming down to the wire on recruiting two years ago. They finished a meeting and the late afternoon was free and Freeze asked why one of the assts didnt go see Faulk. He told Freeze that Faulk was not home he was at a camp. And Freeze said.......his momma is home.......

I recall that Pat Dye made meeting the parents a priority in recruiting. He said he wanted to see what the young men were going to grow into.

Wtf is going on with Deuce Knight? Seemed like he was ready to flip, then just silence. Has the ship sailed? Is there a hang up?

We need to know something by the first game, because if he’s gonna stick with ND, then we have to throw the house at KJ and get the QB spot in place quickly

The Locked on Irish guy said yesterday he still expects Knight to AU, but says ND still has a small chance of keeping him.

I wasn't thinking about this aspect and I no longer want number 2 on the field.

I dont want anybody with any extra pressure.

He could flip any time. Unless, of course, he doesn't. Then he won't.

Freeze has Bama fans on the main board coping in strange ways and I'll just go ahead and say these numbers are complete bullshite. Trovon Reed and Etheridge pulled in two four stars from juco: Emba and Keionte Scott one year and those were our big flips of the class. Lol

MF trying to take the agony I experienced away from me.

quote:

In two seasons Harsin recruited and signed 19 four star recruits. That is an average of 9.5 per season.

Auburn has, based solely on recruiting rankings, the 16th most talented roster in the country. Half of the classes that is based on are Harsin’s classes.

For comparison, Freeze, who is regarded as an elite recruiter, signed 11 four stars last season and is on pace to sign 25 over his first 2 seasons. But based just on actual signed classes, he is averaging 11 per season.

In Gus’ final two seasons, he recruited and signed 23 four stars. That is an average of 11.5 per season.

So yes, Harsin was not an elite recruiter. But he was not a huge drop off. He averaged 9.5 four stars vs. 11 and 11.5.

The numbers don’t lie. The myth that Harsin didn’t recruit at all is just that, a myth. Again, that was something started by people working against him internally and ignorantly repeated by casual fans.

I'm pretty glad I dont have that. I would probably have to start over counting because the extra pushes against my limits.

And, more importantly, how would you flip off all the boys trying to date your daughters?

Great question I wonder if the extra finger would help add to the latch on if I need to give kucklehead a purple nurple.
