Outside of Shull, Smith was probably my favorite OL committ. Sucks, but it is what it is these days. Kids hear an NIL number thrown at them and believe it without every looking anymore in to it. They usually end up regretting it. On to the next.

nothing has gone right since Freeze went on vacation a week early.

Have you heard anything related to Dowland’s decommit as well? Heard he was asked to make
Yep. Heard that was coming but not sure it will now.

Carde Smith was at USC this past weekend, Bitches sure are trying to poach the southeast. Lets see if he realizes the same as the Georgia boys and finds his way out of that nutland back home.

When/if people eventually turn on Freeze this will be his duck hunting moment

Looks like JuJu was sent to recruit our guys out

All those decommits opened up money for them to use elsewhere.

Some schools are paying just for commitments. Not actual signatures on signing day.
USCw and bammer are 2 of them…. How that works I have no idea.
It’s a long game. We have put the work in for the long game.
As I was back in about February or March I still think we land somewhere between 4-8 in the final rankings

To quote Jones, it’s June.

Also for Jones I know he has his rules about starting a recruiting thread after the prior class is completed but the recruiting cycle is completely different. We will probably have 10-12 commits for the ‘26 before the end of this year

This thread has the 2026 commitments listed in the OP and we’ve been talking about 2026 guys all year

Yeah I know that’s the problem lol.

Smuphy,
Are you saying JuJu is a "silent decommit" and they are spending that money as well??
Posted on 6/26/24 at 5:44 pm to trinidadtiger
No, he’s saying the handful of Georgia 5 stars that recently decommitted opened up some money

I realize Baw, hence the "as well", okay a poor attempt at humor.
Pink made an interesting comment today, both he and Alan Head are hearing its between us and Michigan now for Babalola. His point was, it was us and Stanford, now us and Michigan....one constant there.
Mentioned before, but his brother is at Tuskeegee, his official he spent a lot of time with Favor Edwin, both Nigerian, both play tackle. We might just have a chance there. What an offensive line haul that would be to put that cherry on top.

Regardless I still don’t like losing Carde Smith. My personal evaluation has Carde above Shull.
