I assume we’re not in on Shamar Arnoux?

Announcing Wednesday and we’re on his graphic

Deuce Knight looked terrible on ESPN last year.

Also updates from Fong:
Juju more likely to stick with USC than flip
Cunningham has Alabama #1 and they are trending big time
Babalola top 3 seem to be Michigan, Stanford, and Oklahoma as 3rd.
Gibson has UGA #1 far and away

Deuce was/is a guy who still needs to develop some. He's improved a lot since then though. I don't know his final Elite 11 ranking, but a lot of people had him as one of the best performers at the camp. I think through 2 days he was running 2nd to the Oh St QB.

Interesting about Juju, someone else came out and said USC might be running 3rd.

Cunningham is on a visit high. When we get our QB then we will really turn the heat up on him imo.

Others might know more than me. I'm not as on top of new info as I used to be, but I don't think he picks Auburn.

I think CJ May will be an end in college. I also think Corch is right Jared Smith will be an end (neither an edge). And I think Jared is probably higher on the board.

I also think you are right Corch, if we get Jared he will definitely have to spend some time in the weight room. By perspective, he is a half inch taller than Keldric....and over 50lbs lighter (thats if his "listed" weight is correct, in his pics he is one thin fella for a lineman), with both playing the same position.

I don’t understand why we’re acting like anything is going bad.

Were ranked 5th right now

Who's his competition in the SEC?

There's lots of talent everywhere but with Nick gone and owning Georgia.

Eta: the state with the city of Atlanta.

AU, UTk, Clemson, USCe, FSU, UF have all got to start cherry picking Georgia. Even as well as we have recruited the past couple years we still aren’t denting Georgia. We need to split Alabama with bammer and need to get 3-4 of the top 25 players in Georgia plus 3-4 other Georgia players each year.

6-7 from Alabama
7-8 from Georgia
4-5 from Florida
2-4 from other states

3-4 transfers each year

That’s the path that has always been successful for Auburn

I know you know this but that "ranking" means absolutely shite. Just a pen swipe on a piece of paper generated by a bunch of guys who are just taking guesses

What matters is the guys on the list. Georgias list is long. Oh, and we will be playing them every year from now till the dinosaurs return and eat us all

They are just stacking people like playing cards. And their recent results show it

So what are you evaluating on if not the rankings that indicates we’re not recruiting well?

It’s almost as if Georgia was ranked #1 or close to #1 every year leading up to their rise in dominance. Just like Alabama was before that. And pretty much every good team before that…

It’s almost as if the made up pen swipes are based on something that’s relevant….

Im not saying its not a measure bro. Just saying that being #5 means something. Just as UGA rallied behind their great recruiting to be on top, there are plenty who had high ranked classes that did not.

I do find it fun though how this board regards those recruiting rankings. Not aimed at you at all. Some years, we take those rankings seriously because we are ranked up there. Other yeasrs, we just need to get the guys we need and the ones who want to be here. Other years, we only got guys who upped our rankings but didnt need. That last one is my favorite.

This thread is always one of the more fluid and entertaining threads on this board.

And all that drivel means, we still need a stud QB if we are going to compete at the highest level these days. Maybe 2 . And frick UGA
