We are still 4-5 roster spots short of 85. So any added even if for depth and can be a quality scout team piece is good in my opinion.
However honest the kid could be terrific I know absolutely zero about him.

Just say it - I can barely even follow your stream of thought.

Personally, i think Tastey got high af and posted random thoughts and hypotheticals

I tried decoding it.
This is what he was trying to say I think…
Auburn staff and Juju’s family didn’t see eye to eye on the visit.
Hugh is frustrated that Juju was going to visit Colorado this weekend.
Juju had an attitude going into the elite 11 finals and tanked it because that’s what he wanted to do.
Hugh isn’t giving in to Juju’s father’s demands and the poster is glad that Hugh is standing strong.
That’s what I was kind of able to decode which is all complete bullshite. Not one peep of this is anywhere to be found and unless the poster knows the family personally I would discount everything said. All reports are things went well on Juju’s visit. Auburn got information the Lewis family got information and that’s where it stands now. Most of the recruitniks give Auburn the slight favorite to land Juju at this time even tho he is still committed to USCw

JuJu’s dad would be dumb to not let him go play for Lincoln Riley. He has coached three Heisman QBs with short statures. It didn’t matter what their college records were or that they didn’t win any NCs. Two have already made bank and another will too.

The whole thing is flawed because he didn't tank Elite 11 lol. He had a very good showing against guys a year older than him.

I was decoding what that guy said.
But his peers are this class not next years class so playing the he’s a year younger thing isn’t gonna work out. He will always be a year younger than his peers that’s part of it.

So if it wasnt their college record or national championships.......it was their innate talent and not coaching? Just kiddin....sorta.

Penn St. is the only one I believe. His recruitment has just been one where its been assumed he was about to commit for like a year and a half at this point it seems. He hasn't been commitment hopping, his recruitment has just been a pretty big tease for a while, which is why everyone got frustrated with it.
Thanks Crazy. Wasnt sure what he did.

Beat me to it coach.
And they came prepared and he wasnt. He was definitely not in the group with the top three. Hopefully he realizes they are all pretty at this level.

There would be the pressure to be that good if you play for Riley, and if you're not a Heisman winning level QB for him the perception that you're not that great would be there. Then for a small town Georgia kid to feel that pressure in Los Angeles may not be all that appealing.
Wonder if hid dad ever heard of Todd Marinovich

Auburn picked up a transfer DB from Alabama by way of Colorado (a kid that followed Kelley around, apparently). Not an impact transfer, but might provide depth.
Some rumors floating that Tyler Scott may have an injury (torn ACL) and may explain bringing him in with Kelly's familiarity at Bama/Colorado. Definitely hope that is not the case with Scott as I saw him being on the field a lot this year.

I agree going forward age won't matter, but in the setting of that camp.. all of those guys have an extra year of physical development and training. I think its fair to acknowledge that a guy younger than the rest was just as good as any of them.

His dad is shopping him like the new and improved version of the goat, with the price tag.....and he comes in 5th string....yeah Id say he needs to focus on the product not the surrounding circus.
Lets just see what the rankings look like when they revise........but whatever A&M and Bama spent is probably far less than it will cost us and they are looking pretty good right now, and they are done with the dance routine.

Juju did very well for himself at the elite 11 camp. Just because it says 11 there were somewhere around +\- 20 competitors.
All things can be true. He had a good camp. Currently he isn’t head and shoulders above the players close to his level. His strengths are timing and accuracy. His negatives are his size and arm strength. The rest of whatever Tastey was saying no one has said at all so nah not buying it.
But Hugh will do everything he can to get his top guy. Sometimes it won’t happen most times it will. Like I mentioned before most of the experts would have Auburn a slight favorite to get Juju’s signature on signing day but USCw isn’t far behind and he’s committed there.
Everything should come into focus by the end of July first of August. This is big boy recruiting. We had forgotten what’s it like to have your commits wanted by all your rivals. And if he doesn’t get on board before his senior season starts we will shift to Lacey and Hawkins. We can win with all 3 if we keep recruiting like we have last class and this class

Amen brother. This will be a rollercoaster for us no matter how you slice it, so the faint of heart need not apply.
