Horatio Fields definitely looks the part in shorts and shells. Dude is quick as hell for a guy that size.

You know Jang, Jackson Arnold has to be giddy standing behind that offensive line with weapons wherever he looks downfield.

One of the ROC boys said in a podcast, "Im not saying he is that good, or the results will be the same....but its very similar to the situation Bo Nix had when he left Auburn for Oregon". And its true, lets hope the results are somewhere in the same ballpark

I advise you to reject this Bo Nix comparison. He is being too easy of a comparison. Bama fans even want to say their Tyler Simpson QB is a Bo Nix.

Jang touchy on the Bo Nix. He compared the situation he is in, not that he is the same player.

It’s ok, we get to enjoy Bo still watching Broncos games on Sunday.

I think the comparison is more about the difference in when he got to Oregon, not necessarily as a player. Things just got a lot simpler for Bo at Orgeon with a better OL and targets to throw to. Lot less having to force things and run for his life.

Presumably, that will be a good change coming here for Arnold. They were porous at OL with injury and same at WR.

Heard some good intel on Perry Thompson. Seems he finally has the system down for the most part. The summer work really helped him on the mental side

Rooting hard for this guy. I remember seeing the recruiting video of Freeze at his home...rough situation.

Good news. He can be such a versatile piece if he puts it all together. Looked good physically in the few clips posted.

I still wanna see how his suddenness off the line is. He’s fast top end speed seemed a hair slow coming out of his stance. Absolute mismatch if he puts it all together

I imagine they are pretending to be comparing tapes considering Simpson has no tape.

A Nix comparison on tape is someone that leaves the pocket pretty early to break down the defense and then pretty smart with the ball out there in space.

I want to say we can be Jackson Arnold's Oregon. We have the receivers and the line for at least his first year. But do we have to prove to be Oregon before we can call ourselves Oregon?

which was what Arnold did last year at OK. I like the comparison. Throwing motions are slightly different but their game looks similar on tape

From what I’ve seen, Arnold has some zing running the ball, but I don’t think you can compare him to Nix and his scrambling and his escapability.

Hope so. He does well when he gets going with the ball, just have to see what he can do when the pocket breaks down around him. Hopefully that won’t be often.
