LT Wade/Langlo
LG Wright/Harris
C Jones/Lew/Johnson
RG Miller/Joiner
RT Britton/Smith

Who do you see trotting out onto the field on our first offensive series in 2023?

Any ideas of starting 5?

You could trot out an actual ? mark and it would block better than what we saw last season

i just do not understand how we had two straight head coaches that could not recruit an OT to save their lives (or literally their jobs)

Friends don't let friends make long term decisions based on a night in a hot tub.

I don’t think we are even close to being done getting linemen so guessing a starting lineup would be tough but you have to throw Wright in there dude was mauling people in the run game at
The end of the year. He has to get better reading blitz pickup and pass pro but I think a spring and fall he can figure it out

I wouldn’t sleep on RS Sophomore Colby Smith, 6’8 320 lbs, at RT with Miller moving inside to RG. I think we’ve offered another transfer lineman who can play C but I can’t remember his name.

Langlo should be moved to guard as well and should be able to compete and be better than any true freshman.

We need a 1 year center and then I think Lew and Joiner will be ready to battle it out. Lew is by far our most underrated recruit based on rating. Could see him being a 3-4 year starter and possibly all-sec caliber for his last couple years

He was by far our best OL this season.

Who’s got the best shot at center going into spring?

Tater Johnson I guess, unless there’s a transfer

I would seriously put Lew ahead of Johnson right now if they are our only centers

Hopefully we can sign a couple more plug and play guys through the portal. The thought of relying on a true freshman center scares me.

Someone that can slow the initial jailbreak up the middle that happened last year would be awesome. And not just push the outside rusher as he blows past would also be nice.

What about Joiner? He the more highly rated C. Is there something about Lew that jumps out as to why he would start over Joiner?

Just watch their high school highlights and you tell me which is the better center Joiner or Lew.

For me it’s not even close it’s Lew

I watched both of their highlights, and both pancaked their opponents on literally every play. I don’t know how to critique the finer points of OL play, but from my lay perspective they are both dominant. I can’t pick one over the other.

It's truly amazing. Any fan of football knows that the OL and the DL are the two most important position groups on the field.
