I agree with all those points, you definitely take him if you can get him. I guess my question really would be more for UGA fans who have tracked his development over the last couple of years.
As for Justin Fields his situation was a little different. He came into a situation where they had an established starter who had just led them to the title game and he was still able to get on the field some.
Carson Beck was a low 4 star and has very little experience.

Eason was a 5 *, lost his job to a 3*, transferred, led his new team to the playoffs, got drafted

This is about LB recruiting. There is apparently some mutual interest with Omar Speights who just entered from Oregon State. There is another name that is circulating that hasn't entered the portal as well.
Nobody wants to talk about QB recruiting for obvious reasons. I have no idea about RL, but I did see another name suggested with no idea about the feasibility. That will be the most interesting thing to watch this weekend - if a QB suddenly enters and shows up on campus for a visit.

A lot of fake news to unpack here but Fromm was a very high 4 star who took over for Eason after he got hurt, Eason was 8-5 at Washington, Eason was a prototype first round pick coming out of HS and yes he got drafted in the 4th round but is probably out of the league already.

Dukes says a LB from the SEC East will enter the portal soon and has Auburn as one of their top schools.

Asa Martin back in the portal, this will be the fourth stop for him. I hate he was never able to put it together and stick somewhere. He showed a lot of promise.

I was wondering the same thing to be honest. The covid year rule has guys reaching retirement age in college football.
