I’m still gonna pump my boy Davion Dozier. Through 5 games . 618 yards on 21 receptions. Averaging 30 per catch with 9 TDs. That’s against double teams each week. 1 of his 2 TDs last night was insane. To give folks an idea he’s is built a lot like Capers but has insane leaping ability and is great on contested catches.

Wonder if we’ll get any of those guys to flip after the game?

Surely they're lining up outside Harsin's office to commit

Recruit reaction per article from KN:

quote:

-Five-star edge Qua Russaw of Montgomery (Ala.) Carver: “I actually thought it was going to be like a close game. I didn’t think there was going to be this many touchdowns. They fought hard. The atmosphere is always crazy, I’ll give them that.”

quote:

-Five-star defensive tackle James Smith of Montgomery (Ala.) Carver: “Good environment wise. It was good. All the people. It will always be good. The game — I expected moe.” But he added, that doesn’t hurt Auburn’s chances because … “I can make a difference.”

quote:

-Four-star offensive lineman DJ Chester of McDonough (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing Christian: “It was a good visit. It was my first time seeing and Auburn game. I’ve been up here a couple of times when my sister was in Tuskegee. But I hadn’t really been inside and seen how it is. The environment is good. Even in the fourth quarter when they were down. People still stayed and I really liked that. You could see the fans are really true here.”

quote:

-2024 4-star Auburn quarterback commit Adrian Posse of Miami (Fla.) Edison: “It was a great experience. Not the outcome we wanted but the crowd was awesome. The fanbase here is amazing. I thought the plays were there. We just had a lot of turnovers that cost us. A lot of points. We were in a battle the first half. Didn’t come out strong in the third quarter and it cost us.”

quote:

-2025 safety Eric Winters of Enterprise (Ala.): “It was pretty awesome. The atmosphere was great. I would have liked to see a better score than that.”

quote:

-Defensive tackle Derick Hunter of Hinds Community College (Miss.): “I enjoyed myself (at Auburn). The atmosphere was amazing. It didn’t come out to be the game I thought it was going to be but I’m not going to take nothing from this team. I still believe in them. I really enjoyed myself.”

Not a good way to build recruiting momentum… huge mistake and backstop by the entire staff….. deserves extreme scrutiny if not an outright firing..,

The team quit on this staff on national TV. Harsin and company are dead in the water now. The negative recruiting was bad after the donkey show we put on this offseason.....imagine what it will be now

LBs and Safeties wanted zero contact for most of the game.

He's a Moody guy, right? What do you think of Jake Ganus as coach?

As a person, my experience around him is he's a great guy. Always wondered how good of a coach he'd end up being. He got a HC role real fast

Wouldnt be surprised if he’s thinking, “I got my highlight reel clip for the 2023 draft, now I can take it easy”

Jake is a great person. He seems genuine. He’s a little too animated on the sidelines but this is his first rodeo. He will learn.

He came in at a great time. The most talent at Moody in probably its schools history is in the Senior, Junior, and sophomore classes. They lost 1 game over 3 years during their JV years and picked up a very solid high school QB from Guntersville.

With that being said I expect him to be gone within 3 years to a bigger program.

Davion and possibly Chase Jackson and Blaine Burke are the only D1 athletes. Blaine can go baseball or football. But probably 15-20 can play in smaller colleges from the roster. It’s that talented. I don’t k ow if they can beat Leeds within their region or if they can handle some of the traditional powers late in the playoffs but they are good enough to win a state title this year
