thought Thorne played much better this week. Our WRs are horrible. OL can’t pass block for shite either.
Take away his 60 hard run, did he do much? He still missed so many reads. I’m. Y no means putting everything on him, while offense was pretty shite, but at some point we have to realize he can’t face a blitz or read pre-snap. I don’t know what the answer is, but dude is allergic to a dump off pass.

Throne wasnt a liability. He didnt really help our offense though. He had one big run. Pretty quiet otherwise.

We are most likely two great recruiting seasons away from a possibility of competing for championships.

How many before we sniff 100 yards passing in a game against an SEC team?

Good standard answer. Reality is, it will take more than that and we still may not compete at that level

It doesn't necessarily take longer: but a win after having number one ranked team on the ropes would go a long way with that leash which allows ample time.
Freeze will need flashes like tonight to keep people giddy. based on tonight trajectory is up.

Auburn needs some wide receivers! I'm starting to think they are running the wrong routes. Fairweather has the best hands by far but lacks the speed. The other guys look like they can't get open. Our defense is great but without any offense they are getting gassed. If they can get some sort of passing attack going I think auburn can beat some folks

First time in a few years I have felt calm and optimistic for the future after an AU loss.

A piece by Goodman has me in the sads. It is actually a good piece by Goodman so I suggest reading

Apparently Cam is so old that his running around the stadium resulted in family members helping him walk up the hill of the west side of the stadium after the game. I know that hill; I have walked up that hill drunk before. Is his body that broke?

Newton and his family exited the field on the west side of the stadium. That meant he had to walk up a hill to the campus. To help Newton up the incline, an older family member with a cane used the walking aid to push Newton from behind. That’s how entirely exhausted Newton was after the game. He had given Auburn everything he had.
In that moment, the Newton who ran around during the game like an official Auburn mascot on a cheerleading scholarship was no longer around. This was a different person, and not the character of himself that Newton plays for the crowds and the cameras. It was the version of Newton that few get to see, or at least the side of the man who so many people refuse to acknowledge.

It is exhausting knowing we do not have a chance. At no point when UGA went ahead did I think we could pull it out.
When we dropped the INT that was in our hands, it was over. We are not good enough to win
If Cal had any sand at all, we would be 2-3 right now.

Thats what happens when you win. You get the credit. Losers get no credit. Playing good and losing is still losing.
But we are not 2-3. We had plenty of chances to lose that game but we didn't. We won it. Give our boys some credit.
Just as you said about the uga game - all that matters is getting the dub. Nothing else matters. You can't have it both ways Bro.

They are still learning how to win close games but the effort and heart the team played with was perfect. I thought 2nd half we would get dominated on the line but we didn’t - we competed and had a chance. It hurt watching two straight drives without being able to stop 19 which was QB first read. Have to take away first read when game is on the line

UGa physically looks Ike a NFL team. The simple mistakes like high snaps on 3rd & 4th and 1 can’t happen if we r gonna beat them.
It was an electric crowd so hopefully we can seal the deal on some of these recruits and close the physical/ athletic gaps!.

We need some pass rush talent. That could have effected the game more as well had we put more pressure on Beck with just the four DL.

I felt the same way. We weren't even close to generating pressure unless we blitzed

Yep, and that opened up some gaps for passing
