I commend Coach Harsin for his effort. His staff too. What I want to know is if our robust effort of getting all these guys on campus is more, less, or about the same as other P5 contenders during June. Does anyone know?

Unless they have more hours in a day I doubt anyone has more guys on campus, maybe more 5*s but nobody will get all those

Yeah I know Alabama and UGA have been busy. It appears our visit list is closer to theirs than anyone else within the conference.

Which is good because that’s who we judge ourselves against. I’ve only read Arkansas and Tennessee 247 sites outside of Alabama and UGA and we’re running laps around those two programs which is a good sign as well.

The biggest compliment I can give Harsin right now is he absolutely seems to say and do the right things that are needed for us. He 100% has a great vision of what he wants and seems to communicate it well to his staff. At this point that is all we can ask for. It may or may not work out how we hope, but he is doing what I want him to do, and that is a really big deal at this point.

He is acting like the head coach, unlike someone we know. Hopefully he trusts his assistants more than that other dipshit in Orlando now did

I love seeing them utilizing previous relationships to get kids on campus. I can't think anytime Auburn has recruited the Northwest US.

‘23 4* S Sylvester Smith is visiting today.

KN expects a light group of unofficials today with a larger group of official visitors on campus for the weekend.

I'm not keeping up as much as I used to be should we be concerned with the lack of numbers at OT and Wr for the June visits?

I think we’re OK at WR. Amarion Brown visited. Jay Fair has an upcoming visit as does Kaydin Pope. We are in on Marquarius White and Camden Brown as well as a few others.

OT is another story but it’s still early. Many say Eston Harris as a heavy lean so that would take care of one spot.

Fair question. There’s two things to consider, though. The first is that we’re seeing 3-7 names added to the list each day through this first week. So I’d expect 50-70+ more guys to hit this list by the end of the month. The second consideration is that all signs point to recruiting returning to it’s normal schedule for the remainder of the year. So June isn’t all the time we have.

For OT, getting Quick, Sapp, Woody, Harris, and Hood all in June is pretty good, IMO. Those are among the top targets for the position. Same goes with WRs. Their top targets have seemed to be Darrius Clemons (#20), Jay Fair, and Antonio Williams (#22). All are visiting this month. They also got 4* WR Amarion Brown on campus and he left with an offer.

June is just the start and we’ll see more and more names added to the list as the month drags on. Obviously, the staff wants as many of these guys and more back for game days in the fall.

Probably also worth reiterating that this staff in particular is super far behind on getting to know these ‘22 cycle players. I’m expecting this to be a better class than I previously imagined but they’re going to have to win some serious recruiting battles to get there.

They’re doing a great job at laying the groundwork for the ‘23 class, though.

No kidding. In contrast, bama just offered a 14year old, how many years have they known some of these kids, and we picked up the phone last month and introduced ourselves. To get them on campus is one heck of a feat.

And the logistics of getting so many, in such a tight time frame, with the quality we are getting, wow. This says a heck of a lot about the administrative side of recruiting, a heck of a lot, good for them....and us!
