We have 3 OL we’re recruiting that sign in February:
5* OT Julian Armella
4* OT/DT Tae Woody
3* OL Jaden Farmer
I think the staff would like 3 HS OL. And probably a couple of transfer OTs

I have seen that. When do portal transfers happen?
Not during this period?
I don't keep up with recruiting much anymore. Too easy to get in too deep with all this..

Our chances pretty good with them? I mean are we expected to sign those guys or should we expect to miss on them?

Yes it’s been stated, but it doesn’t stress enough the lack of offensive pieces in general we lack.

I have heard upwards of 4 transfer OL.
The reason why they are going heavy transfer vs. HS on the OL is because of our roster breakdown. We have a ton of SR's and then nothing in the middle. They feel that they need to patch the void there before going hard at the HS class of OL in 2023.

Hard to know. Farmer seems most likely. Woody seems to want to play DT but KN said this morning that he might have academic concerns.
Armella OV’d with teammate Camden Brown who is expected to sign with Auburn today. Miami has entered that equation.
Auburn has been weirdly selective at OL. Notably, didn’t want 3* OL Dayne Shor and 4* OT Agbo when they could’ve had both. Also, Bobo flipped when his dad was canned

Also keep in mind, 2023 is loaded in AL and GA. We have to keep this class in context.

For whatever reason I never bought the Tolan stuff. He just seemed like an LSU kid to me.

I'm gonna be honest and say that this move has me stumped. I just don't get it. Especially Agbo. I just don't see where the train of thought is headed in regards to OL recruiting.
I get that the portal is a tool in the arsenal, but we aren't exactly in the position to be very picky when it comes to that group. It's baffling to me.

Very curious what we do at LB now that we missed on Tolan.. Woodyard is good, but I'm still not sold on Powell, and we need 1 more.. Portal LB?
