Yes I think my prediction earlier is pretty solid on what the coaches will probably be going for in the portal. Obviously some positions could sway if you get say 3 very good OL you might miss on 1 of the 2 WRs. Or maybe the linebacker. However I think we need another linebacker to go along with Owen. I like Joko and Stiener but not sure we can win game after game with them at this time

in my opinion, bringing in that many portal players, especially in back to back years, is a quick way to get a group full of individual players. Not the mention, I feel like the quality of players in the portal is overstated. Most of them are average at best.

Most are, but the guys you want are the ones that were standouts at smaller schools who are a chance to play with the big boys (see pretty much every transfer we got last year).
The portal is great for bandaids where you need immediate impact guys. Unfortunately for us that means essentially the entire OL and some other positions.

Theo Wease has to be the top target in the portal at WR
Yes please. He’s the type of guy we need at WR

Theo Wease isn't coming to play for a team that doesn't have a QB.

Auburn is reaching out to OU transfer OT Brey Walker. Former 5*
Random question, but any news on this guy? I’ve been looking at the portal players, and at 6’7”, 320lbs, seems we could find something to do with him, and we are desperate for size on the o-line.

I honestly don't follow Michigan because I despise Michigan. Have they been putting any WR's in the league lately
For the next few weeks, go big blue!!

Speaking of Michigan, Wiltfong says one of his sources thinks there’s no way Clemons picks Michigan
Unfortunately we’re going to have to pay attention to that announcement

A lot being said about Clemsons OL Paul Tchio that’s in the portal. Between us, UCF, ND, and Nebraska.

When does he announce?
I would think we would hear some info seeping out tonight about whether tomorrow Clemmons goes Michigan.
I would think our long time and effort recruiting him, that he would give the coach a courtesy call telling him tonight.

Welcome
Hussss posted down on the main board that Bryan Matthews sees us easily in the top 20 (which we knew) and potentially moving toward the top 10. Which we've talked about a little here but we need most of the reasonable 50/50 guys to likely reach that. As in, we'd need most of Perry, Tolan, Williams, Clemons, Citizen, Woody, etc. And if we start losing those guys we'd need some surprise opportunities to pop up between now and February.
Really interested to see if a lot of south east guys are up for grabs in January due to all of the coaching changes

I heard an interview this morning on Baton Rouge sports radio with Shea Dixon - he covers LSU recruiting for 247 - he pretty much said that LSU's staff expects JaDarian Rhym to flip to AU
