‘23 4* DE Keldric Faulk said the crowd was so loud in the 1st half that he couldn’t hear himself think. Sounds like he got to meet a lot of the coaches Saturday and said Auburn is one of his top schools

Asked if the loss changes his recruitment:

quote:

It was a great experience,” Faulk said. “It didn’t hurt them at all. They’re building the program back with a new coaching staff. I think they’re doing a pretty good job. They’re building the program up the right way.”

Crowd was absolutely rocking in the first half. Second half it was definitely stale, but being down 24-3 will usually do that.

He’s at a 1a school in Louisiana so he plays a lot of positions but WR and RB are the main two along with S on defense. Naturally, he’s their KR and PR and I’m surprised he doesn’t kick field goals too

ND has such a strong pull on these catholic school kids. Especially the traditional big 10 area ones

FWIW, KN said he wouldn’t be surprised if Bowen picks Auburn. Warm weather baseball and football seems to be a big selling point too. We’ll see

Also wouldn’t be surprised if we see KN throw in a CB for 4* OL Antavious Woody to AU.

The atmosphere was great,” Ausberry said. “It was electrifying. It was a great football game. The crowd was crazy. I really enjoyed it. “

Ausberry also enjoyed seeing Bryan Harsin and his staff’s reactions to the loss.

“Coach Harsin and the staff, the way they prepared and the way they went back in the office Sunday and started correcting things and motivating their guys after a loss really stood out to me,” Ausberry said. “It’s always good to see how teams react after a loss. It tells me a lot about the program. I really liked that.”

JLee/On3 with the interview of Ausberry

He’s taking all of his officials and deciding after the game. Sounds like Trovon Reed is a big part of this recruitment

quote:

“Coach Reed is the realest dude I’ve ever met,” Ausberry said. “That’s my guy, for sure. He kept it real about everything. I just appreciate his time and everything. He’s a great dude.

“He told me about why he chose Auburn. He said he could’ve went to LSU, but Auburn actually felt like home to him. I got that vibe this weekend, too.”

Reed can’t recruit off campus though can he?

Can he even call or text a recruit?

I’m not sure on whether he can call or text and communicate over social media. I believe he can to the same degree as Uscher can. Can’t recruit off campus as you pointed out, to my knowledge

4* CB Trequon Fegans has decommitted from Miami. KN says he expects Auburn to be in contact. He's from Thompson ...

As an aside, reports of FSU’s demise may be exaggerated. They beat the hell out if preseason top 10 (horribly overrated) UNC in Chapel Hill this past weekend, and suddenly they are looking competitive in the ACC again (mainly because that conference sucks rocks this year, but still).

Wonder what’s going on in their commitments’ heads these days…

I hope we promoted that St Michaels is the second largest congregation in Auburn now. I grew up attending at the circirular location and an Altar Boy below the Methodist Church on Thatch. I attended Mass this Sunday at the new location before I left town and its *massive* in structure and attendance. I hope that was part of the visit and could definitely help.

That's not saying much in regards to UNC this year. They have fallen off, and have already lost 3 games in their conference.

Neither of the Bobos are any good. But I guess at this point under Harsin getting an able bodied person to say they'll play football at AU is good.
Let everyone know when you graduate high school.

As a novice you can watch Bobo's film to know he's going to be productive. He also finishes the hell out of blocks. Plus you have two great SEC programs after him. IDK if he starts at C for three years as mentioned but he could. He's going to be a productive SEC OL.

Yeah, they (Florida State) will be lucky to get to four wins. I hope they are very, very unlucky.

We need all the cruits. We should try and raid every ACC team this year.

I think those kids really like the idea of attending an institution of higher education that is affiliated with the Catholic church such as Notre Dame, Boston College, Georgetown… it means a lot more than just going to church on Sundays. It is emotional and it is about identity.
