I think Clemons, Harris, and Bobo are locks.

Clemons has been for some time now. Harsin has been recruiting him for years. He originally planned to wait until later in the year to commit but left often the possibility to do it sooner. I think he does.

Kinda surprising how quickly things have turned with Harris. I get that his other options are filling up but he's still gone from seemingly "anywhere but AU" to CB picks just over the weekend. Must have had a good experience.

I think seeing the offense made every bit of difference. That and Bama didn’t offer

It is amazing by just being average can be a positive effect on recruiting

. . . a staff who adapts to their player's skill set doesn't hurt

‘23 5* CB Tony Mitchell is visiting Auburn next weekend for the Alabama State game. Thompson kid so he’s a long shot and he’s missed a few scheduled visits so we’ll see if she shows

Looking way ahead I am a bit concerned about lb next year considering that McLain and most likely pappoe will be gone. Sure hope we can sign 1-2 big time transfers this coming spring.

At this point we will have Wooten, Steiner, and riley and then a bunch of lightly recruited 3 star guys including gordon that we are going to have to rely on for depth.

Didn't realize you thought so little of Tisdol.

Steiner, Tisdol, Riley, and Willis is a solid 2 deep for next season and the one after it.

We really need to flip Woodyard. I think the depth chart is a big reason why some think he’s tending toward Auburn

Could be a few weeks on Clemons. He could announce in December. KN hears from Auburn people that they’re extremely confident there but Clemons seems to want to keep things close to the vest.

I still bet he commits sooner than later but I’m just speculating really.

Same deal with Bobo. He could commit tomorrow or in October Still betting sooner than later

Yea I think, even though we are a "3-4" scheme, the traditional linebacker in this defense is really on 2 guys, with what offenses are now. Do we need more? Absolutely, as well as more OLB/Ends, but I think we are in an okay spot. We could in theory lose a ton of our ends this year though.

I figure Hall is most likely gone as well as Moultry. Who else? Wooden has to stay another year since he’s a sophomore correct? Plus we have Brooks who should be ready with a year of strength and conditioning.

I like Powell Gordon for some of the reasons why I liked Jarquez Hunter last year. He’s undersized (slightly) but he’s got way above average strength and I think that helps make up for some of that size difference. And the production is there. I think Gordon has 4 sacks and a bunch of TFLs in only 2 games. I’m not projecting him to be Leighton Vander Esch or anything but I think he’s got more than people give him credit for

I still can't believe the shape Gus left us in on the OL.

I'm glad he is no longer our problem. Will be nice to watch him run UCF off the tracks
