I guess that explains Uscher’s tweets. I was confused why he was shouting out time zones

Still a lot of rumors that 4* LB Robert Woodyard will eventually decommit from Bama. KN hears that it could take a while still

Eston Harris -

OL Eston Harris:

On Aubun’s 60-10-win over Akron:

“Man, it was great. They have a very explosive offense. Coach Bobo, they all impressed me today. They looked good. They made some big changes to their offense. They weren’t that team last year. It looked good. It opened my eyes about Auburn.”

Sounds like Bobo is close to committing, and Auburn appears to be in a good spot.

Harris has a commit date set in late October.

Keep playing like we did last night.

We need to get the recruits in that stadium.

Recruiting will take care of itself.

I've seen that a few times and still don't know if I agree with it. If you can play OT then you can probably play G so that's not the issue, but he seems athletic enough to play RT.

If he's not an OT though, do we even have an OT we can bring in? I know a few more names popped up recently and we we're going to look at JUCO, but we are behind on all of them.

I do have one tinfoil hat conspiracy though.. Pierce Quick didn't show up in Bama's 2 deep. His brother, Riley, is still hearing from Auburn and is thinking about playing football only for us... Both of them come in and play together at Auburn.

I think Riley Quick is more interested in football right now because it’s football season. I think he’ll change his mind again come spring and we’d still have to see where he’s drafted next June.

Back to your OT question —

I’m guessing Harris is a RT at least initially. They need at least one more HS OT.

Tyrone Webber is a JUCO guy they like. He moved up his announcement and hasn’t visited so that seems unlikely.

Another JUCO guy is Percy Lewis, Oregon commit. Mississippi State is also involved and I’m not sure if he has visited yet

4* OT Malik Agbo is a guy they’re working hard on. He’s leaving Washington and his top schools are all out east. Auburn obviously needs him on campus.

5* OT Josh Conerly is a pipe dream but Washington tanking could open the door for us. Currently also working to get him to OV. Again, pipe dream. But Washington continuing to shite the bed helps

They’re probably going to need to flip a committed guy from somewhere to fill that last HS OT need. They also need a couple of upper classmen OTs to balance the roster with after this season’s turnover. They could do that through the portal or JUCO, or both. They’ll get interest if the OL can keep looking like it did last night. Beyond the obvious talent mismatch they were organized and didn’t miss any obvious assignments.

Twilight zone post jt, I also specifically looked up the two deep yesterday to see if anything had changed with Pierce, even with the recent injury and the shuffling they did before the game, he is still not there in 2 deep. And he is now in his 3rd year, a 5 star recruit who should have contributed immediately, and some of the people who have passed him on the roster are underclassmen.

I also think thats why football didnt offer Riley, they thought they might have some Hannah pipeline going and Pierce aint no John Hannah.

Id love to have them both, particularly with a chip on their shoulder.

Christian Clemente CB’d 2022 4*WR Darius Clemons to Auburn on 90% confidence. Clemons is 6’4 and 210 pounds.

He also CB’d Drew Bobo (90%) and Eston Harris (60%) to Auburn.

I haven't seen any comments from Clemons on the game or AU experience. I wonder if he and his family stayed in town until today.
