Yeah but that roster is still good and they generally get a lot better during conference play. But yeah.. last night was a shocking result. Wondering if it shocks them in a good way. If they don’t figure it out I could see Cal going to Texas or some kind of mutual parting of ways at the end of the year

I think UK may be staring a season collapse in the face. We’ll see.

I feel like they have been on the cusp of that several times lately

But this one does feel different.

Great win on the road, take what you can get, none are easy.

So the early news is a separated shoulder on Moore? I don't like the sounds of that. Also saw Broome struggling a bit with his thumb or something? Looked like he was okay with it considering he wanted the halftime bandage removed but I hope it's nothing lingering. I also saw Tre holding his thumb at one point but it didn't seem to be anything. Dylan seems like he's getting better with his back issue (after that full sprint dunk down the lane). I sure hope the injury bug stays away. Thank goodness Allen seems to be rounding back in to form because he will be needed without Moore. I just hope the bench can help Allen out.

Considering UK can name their next coach we need to support Cal.

I think UT will go after Oates or Muss. Don’t think Muss would leave Arky but I could easily see Oates leaving especially since Bama squashed the new arena plans last month.

I for one don’t want Oates at Bama nor Kentucky but if he must be at either, go to Kentucky where I can stomach being second fiddle.

Obvious conclusion: I think Oats is a good coach.

Fell asleep at half, but looks like we must've played much better. Going to watch the 2nd half tonight.

I'm wondering if we keep rolling with Berman to back up Flan or if we try to work Westry in. Berman held his own defensively last night in his few minutes but could get exposed as this goes on.

if CMo is out definitely have to use Berman and Westry to split about 12-15 minutes a game until Chris gets back.

If CMo has any structural damage on his separation he could be out for a good bit. Even if he doesn't have surgery to repair. If Surgery he's probably out the season.

He's supposed to have an MRI today so maybe we get some info

Wasn't CMo dealing with a shoulder injury most of last year? Or was it a leg injury?

Get ready for some hand spend. It's been gone this year and what a welcome pleasure to see.

My fear with shoulder injuries is that in my experience, once it happens once it seems so prone to happen again. Tahj Shamsid-Deen had his career ruined by it and couple teammates in my high school sports days just had on shoulder injury after another.

Over the past 10-15 years ortho and trainers have learned a lot of the structural damage is done putting it back in place. Now they know not to rush it to get it to “pop” back in but to see where everything is say on an X-ray to see the manipulation needed to put it back properly. So hopefully that’s the case here.

I'm thinking it could be a combination of using both of them. It could make things a little unsettling at the 3 playing a injury recovering freshman and a deep reserve bench player to replace Flanigan. I just hope Flanigan as a starter doesn't feel too much pressure to perform with Westry and Berman as the back up options. Saturday should give us some clue.

Aden Holloway is now officially a 5 star on 247 Composite. Not to mention one of the best shooters in the class.
