It could obviously change knowing Kirby but early on Dabo looks like he's gonna clean up this cycle

And Auburn has made a pretty impressive effort on Uiagalelei. He’s been on campus twice now? One time he took a red eye after his state championship just to visit. But he’s all Clemson.
Breese probably seems like a UGA lean on paper since he’s visited a ton but reality is that he’s been somewhere unofficially almost every weekend. Tons of visits to Clemson, OSU, and PSU. UGA just hosted 3* QB Tucker Melton from Phenix City which has some of their fans melting over recruiting

Bottom line is that our recruiting hasn’t become that much more difficult for us. We’ve lost a little but of momentum in GA with Kirby there but with Mullen moving to UF and Ole Miss having issues we’ve replaced some of the 4*s we got from GA with guys from MS and we expect that to continue. We’ve always had to compete with elite recruiting around us

Man UGA gonna kill us in RB recruiting because of the difference in OL recruiting.

You would think so but even with UGA's beastly line we actually had a better RB class than them in 2019. I'll take MAR & DJ 7 days a week & twice on Sunday over Kenny Mc & I bet the UGA staff would too.
IIRC we were hard after Kenny MC until he chose UGA. Then we turned all efforts to MAR. Not saying you're wrong that's just how I remember it.

I think MAR was always a priority in this class and that the coaches were looking for another guy to sign with him. That’s evident by how long Auburn recruited him. I think Noah Cain, McIntosh we’re both candidates to come in with him. I think toward the end the coaches were probably between DJ Williams and Griffin once it became clear that McIntosh and Cain were going elsewhere

AU was hard after MAR for years
But they also wanted McIntosh. The hope was to get 2 in this class in from Cain, MAR & McIntosh. Then they found DJ who ended up in the same category

so what's the word from the transfer market for OL prospects that could end up on the plains by Spring practice? I have heard zero names

Nothing out there yet. Jay Tate vaguely hinted AU might be interested in Reuben Unije but haven't seen much else
I imagine we see a name or two pop up one weekend as a visitor. Who that might be I have no idea

He's so good at developing DL, that it's pretty likely at least one guy from this class will play at a 5* level...rankings be damned
. Good one
I know, right? It's not like he doesn't have about as many DLinemen in the NFL or anything of any college assistant.

It does appear UGA is trending for a 5* RB from Maryland, Dell doing work.

Seems to be a gold mine and we can't get any goods out of it

Do you Team Wallace bro?

Justyn Ross was from Phenix City
Eddie Williams is a 6’3 4* receiver there and currently CBed to Clemson.
There are also a couple 3* OL there.

He was high on Auburn back in the day, IIRC.

Pass... We have enough trouble with picking a starting 5 to throw injury into the mix.

Agreed
Injuries are concerning. His athleticism has taken a huge hit and FSU’s OL was a bigger dumpster fire than ours
