Hamm also said this morning Stidham might take UF visit but thinks AU has firm lead. Lashlee is reason why. Probably won't announce till mid December. Aggies still haven't contacted him not even to say they are passing. He says Stidham already looking forward to playing at Kyle Field next season
Only things now that could really upset chances are Lashlee leaving or Briles getting high profile job

That's pretty shocking.
Art played at UH and was a successful coach there... If there was one program in America that would hire him, it would probably be Houston.
Hoping kiffin gets that job.

KN with Lowell Narcisse update. Says visit is believed to be going well. His family has always liked AU & he holds them in high regard. Problem for AU is overcoming distance from home. Narcisse loves how he fits into the offense. Unknown at this time if he is a flip candidate. Lashlee coming into town this morning to spend next 2 days with them. They plan on leaving at noon Sunday

Houston just issued a statement saying Art is not even a candidate.
He won't be hired by anybody. Too much heat to even have him rumored as a candidate right now

LOL, the only tidbit I could ever contribute to recruiting and Weagle beats me to it.
Does that mean we are really only worried about A&M and Florida for Stidham?
One of the A&M posters linked a good article showing the mess Sumlin is in with how to handle recruiting the kid.

Stephen Roberts had a few hickups but overall I thought he played really well for the most part. Ruffin has looked decent at times as well. Coming back we have these guys all with significant game experience

KN with recruiting insider:
- AU staff stills feels confident 5* OT Calvin Ashley will stick with the Tigers. He is visiting Maryland this weekend and they continue to put pressure on. He is going to officially visit AU on January 20th which is going to be our big recruiting weekend when the basketball team plays Bama at home
- Tigers offered 3* DE Tyree Johnson yesterday who is Aggies commit. He is teammates with Ashley and they apparently are friends. He has apparently let them know he is interested so we offered. If he takes a visit then things could get interesting. I don't think they are offering to help Ashley. Kid is going to be in the Under Armor All-American game so he can play
- Apparently it was Travis Williams & Wesley McGriff that convinced 4* S Deangelo Gibbs to officially visit. He was supposed to go to Oklahoma but canceled and came to AU instead. UGA still the clear leaders but we will see if after visit we make things interesting
- Staff has always felt 4* ATH Tray Bishop would be a flirt but in the end stick with AU. KN seems to think he is more than a flirt and AU has to do some serious work to keep him. The big thing working for us is he really likes and respects Gus Malzahn so you could see him play a bigger role in his recruitment. We are now recruiting him as a safety
- Burns watched 3* WR Tamorrion Terry play basketball game yesterday. Apparently he is a beast out there as well. Terry needs 2 points on ACT to become eligible. FSU is the leader but we are right up there. KN says he has best film of any WR in state of GA

I'm not worried about our DB depth. If a stud wants to come good but I'm fine with who we have currently and don't see the need to take warm bodies there. If anywhere we are going to waste a scholarship give it to Bubba or a DE.
