Just taking a chance of getting seriously injured in a violent sport. If you are going to be a 1st or 2nd rounder, I don't see why you would come back.

Davis is a 2016 kid IIRC, so I doubt if he is worried about Duke.

If he could go in first or second round, I think it would benefit him. He would start his career one year earlier, less wear and tear before he would be up for the bigger second contract.
Do not get me wrong, I would love to see him stay, but he was very upfront from the get go about how he wanted to be a one and done.

He will IYAM. If they didn't act like they were trying hard to keep him, there would be melting. They have met, he has an offer on the table. If he were staying it would have happened by now IMHO. But what do I know?
