I think a lot of the hot hand riding was due to running a read option offense where a lot of timing between the running back and quarterback is required. You find a good duo and let them do it rather than bring in guys that don't have good chemistry together yet.

If he stopped by the QB, it was because we were pulling the guards.
I get that, but I think I only saw like 3 or 4 all season where we did a true speed sweep where he just went.

Yea I don't understand why we went away from Grant either. He was generally always effective.

Anyone know anything about this wide receiver that postponed his visit to Auburn? He's supposedly transferring somewhere from UAB, and Auburn is listed as one of his favorites.
Not sure I'd want to take this guy unless he was a damn fine player in that conference...would rather give a scholarship to a high school kid.

Supposedly he announced he was visiting and our coaches were like "You are? Since when?" And the visit was cancelled.
I haven't watched any of his tape and probably won't but the best I see us doing is offering a walk on spot.

He's worth a look. He's a big receiver, considered to be a deep threat which is valuable in our offense. He's SEC ready, understands blocking, fills an immediate hole. Not sure where the hesitancy is. But he hasn't been offered a scholly yet. He's got 3 to play 2, so we are talking about a short commitment.

Duke was on the outside. We can either have a 10 yard holding penalty or no block. Take your pick

Guy is better than what we seem to have on roster at the moment. Being recruited by some big schools too

He's a big target and also in talks with Florida and visiting western Kentucky Monday. Walk on would be most likely. I for one have no problem taking a few uab walk ons that are looking for revenge against UAT.

"Come to Auburn where you can lead the conference in rushing (Tre Mason and Cam Artis-Payne have the last two years) and we even rotate youngsters into the game (Mike Dyer, Tre Mason, Racean Thomas). We can play you anywhere in the offense due to your versatility. Did I mention we are a run first offense that almost always leads the SEC in rushing?"
We rotated young backs, Recean Thomas, in a significant way this year? I must have missed something..

The LSU tards on the CCB are saying LSU and UF are equal jobs. I put up the amount if recruits each state puts out, an they still believe they are equal. I didn't realize the state of AL and LA produce fairly equal instate talent. I just assumed they were better. I also saw where bama is taking most of their top talent (half of the top 10). No wonder they want Les gone.

I'm going on memory here but I think I read that the UAB wr has been contacted by some big time schools like Louisville Oklahoma and Miami. He would be ever more saught after but he missed like 6 games with injury.
